The place is absolutely amazing, very clean. Stephen, Ngala and Joseph are the best. They made us feel like we were home away from home despite it being a business trip.
The seafood meal chef Ngala prepared was better than any 5star restaurant we've dined at.
The breakfast by the pool was great as well.

I recently stayed at this fantastic villa in Malindi, and it was an incredible experience.
The staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Their excellent service really made our stay special. The villa itself was beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained, with a stunning private pool and garden that added to the relaxing atmosphere.
The food was a highlight, with every meal being delicious and beautifully presented. We enjoyed a mix of local and international dishes, all made with fresh ingredients.
Having the entire resort to ourselves was a unique and wonderful bonus. It felt like our own private paradise, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Overall, it was a near-perfect getaway. We can't wait to return!

Easy town to move around. Not that many pedestrian walkways. From my last visit(2023) there is an upgrade though.
Need for more coffee places.
The beach areas could be more cleaner.
For coffee and lovely delicious snacks,go to Malaika restaurant opposite the Buntwani Beach Front.
Walking is the healthiest way to move around Malindi, just don't give a visual contact with the boda boda taxis( you will ride unwillingly!)
Avoid the Tikka chicken with coloured(yellow) spicing.

The information on Booking.com about Malindi is an accurate representation of what I found on site. I visited the following places:
Galana Shopping Centre
Vasco da Gama Pillar
Portuguese Chapel
Malindi Marine National Park.
I occasionally ate out from a wide range of restaurants in the city centre. It was quite easy to move around Malindi and I currently have no experience of places to avoid while in Malindi.

Laid back lifestyle, great beaches, wonderful Italian pizzas. Vasco Da Gama pillar and Portuguese chapel are right there. Museums need updating. Not a huge amount to do in Malindi but if you want to get out and about, Hell's Kitchen in Marafa is worth visiting. It is a mini mini Grand Canyon. Karibuni villas in Mambrui is also nice - clearest sea water you ever saw.
I had a wonderful stay at Saffron Garden. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions, such as the falconry camp, the Malindi museum, and the Vasco da Gama pillar. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs. I also loved the garden, the art, and the vibes of this magical place. I highly recommend Saffron Garden to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience in the Kenyan Riviera.
The white Elephant is more than just a place to stay, it’s an experience!
I stayed here for a few days after my safari and it was the perfect ending to an already amazing adventure.
The hotel is set amidst a tropical jungle and outdoor art gallery, and is right on the Indian Ocean.
Imagine having your meals right off the beach!
And the staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating.
Spacious and set in nice grounds. The hotel i would rate as 4 star but as the rooms are in need of an upgrade I’d say the rooms are 3 star standard. The beach restaurant is fab and big shout out to Maryam who was wonderful and makes the best cocktails and moctails. Also Nancy was great waitress and Dickson is a great manager.
We chose this hotel because it is on the first line and the room has its own access to the beach. We wanted to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean and wake up with a view of the sunrise.
The hotel assured us that they are safe, they have their own security on a private beach, which is on duty in front of our room.
This hotel has great potential! Built next to a huge Baobab tree that provides shade for a sitting arrangement, it has a lovely Tuscany-Swahili architecture and the pool is just fine. The location is close to shopping and downtown area, though more noisy and smelly (waste burning) as the hotels closer to the beach.
We (2 adults, 1 kid) really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, staff very efficient. The pool was amazing and we loved our access to the beachfront. The area is also near lots of restaurants, so we were able to try several food and dining experiences. I will definitely plan for another stay here.
The proximity to the beach
The availability of a tour guide Mr. George, very professional, respectful, and understand the clients needs👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.
The staff are friendly professional and informative 🙌
This is the place to be hope you can include buffet and African foods in your restaurant
The facility was clean and serene. The staff was very friendly. It is not far from the beach. The swimming pool is a nice addition as well. The place is cleaned throughout the day, which is very, very nice. The air-conditioned rooms make sleeping more comfortable. Overall 8/10
For the three nights I stayed at the facility, I loved the breakfast, especially the beacon. Dinner and lunch were also great.
The hotel is conveniently located close Vasco da Gama pillar and Hell’s Kitchen with hospitals and Malindi town a few meters away.
The room was beautiful and comfortable, there was a relax area with a pool, and couches outside of the room. The staff was helpful, there were bicycles to use for free to go to other restaurants or beaches. The yoga session was also very good.
Everyone was friendly especially the manager Christine so conciderate,.the room was lit.so clean very close to the beach.yea I loved it.the staff were always available when you needed anything.location on point.ill definitely refer my friends
This place is idyllic. Looks exactly like the pictures! Perfect for a couple of days to relax after safari. 5 min walk from the beach (though we headed to Watumu for snorkeling). The staff are very helpful and attentive, particularly Ruth.
location was great.right on the beach!.balcony seats and day bed were excellent. toiletries and towels provided as well, Francis the caretaker was great. location is secure and easily accessible to all Malindi has to offer
Quiet yet close to the beach and the centre of town, this is the perfect spot in Malindi if you are wanting privacy and comfort, and there is a Maid who will cook for you if you want, or not if you don't.
I liked everything about the villa. It was very convenient from town and also to the beach. The staff were lovely and also the breakfast amazing. Would totally recommend people to visit.
