I had booked a full apartment on the ground floor ov Villa Prince and was pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness. When I required an additional socket to recharge my phone, the manager quickly took care of an extension cord. A funny anecdote revolved around the electric stove, which not for the life of me I could get working. Explaining the issue to the manager, she checked the appliance… only to find out that I had forgotten to switch on the power! All in all, the staff was exceptionally welcoming and friendly, always happy to engage in a colloquial chat. I might even say: I arrived a stranger but departed a dear friend.
While I do not have any points of criticism, there are two things that I feel I should point out for future guests:
1 - The location of Villa Prince is quite out of the way, which means if you don't have your own car you will pretty much need a taxi wherever you want to go in Harare.
2 - To stock up your fridge, you will have to visit a supermarket that's a healthy 20-minute walk away -- plus back with your potentially heavy bags of groceries, of course.
