Positive section of review
Very neat tastefully equipped small studio. A little pristine touch of Buddha theme and lots of sleep guards. Perfect place for single tourist or, perhaps, young couple. Giant parking is in 3 minutes walk, also in 5-10 minutes there are the beautiful port square and street market. The numerous restaurants and shops are just in front of entry to the building.

The apartment door could be more soundproof, because the neighbors talk quite loud and but more important somebody or something had continuously walked in the stairway hall the 3 a.m. Also the local communal services and nearby shops were quite noisy in the early morning hours, however it has nothing to do with the apartment, but if you have sleep problems you should know.

The location was perfect we visited the Cognac region to sample the local produce at Courvoisier & Remy Martin It was very interesting how the Cognac was made Breakfast was lovely, we sat outside and enjoyed the sun

We had a problem with hot water that they weren’t able to solve during our stay, but at the check out they take it in count, so for me is ok.

Location was central and very close to a great restaurant. Quiet area.

Host did not speak English and instructions for key access did not arrive until late. Luckily a stranger spoke to the host for us, so we could work out how to get the key. The space was very compact. The pillows were not good and there were not enough of them. Access to the room was up a very tight and winding stair case, with loose tiles. Very difficult to navigate with luggage. Door locks were tricky to use.
