2.8 km from Kinumaki Shrine, Kinosaki Onsen Hanakouji Saigetsu is a recently renovated property situated in Toyooka and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The staff were fantastic, the small double room as it's advertised wasn't small at all and the location was perfect to get to the train station and to get around the town

Boasting an open-air hot springs bath and spacious garden, Arima Grand Hotel is located a 10-minute walk away from Arima Onsen Station. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. The onsen/bath areas were very nice. Dinner was excellent. Room is spacious and comfortable.

Offering sea views, Miharaso is an accommodation set in Toyooka, 1.4 km from North Disaster Earthquake Monument and 1.9 km from Kehi Shrine. Great breakfast was provided, and the staff are super nice even if there's a language barrier. It's a bit of a distance from the Onsen town but the staff picked us up from the train station and brought us to the hotel, then dropped us back off at the Onsen town with a pickup time and location to meet them when it was time to leave. They even loaned us umbrellas due to the rain. If you're on a budget but want to go to Kinosakionsen town and have a nice stay you can't do much better than this

Taketoritei Maruyama is a non-smoking Japanese-style accommodation featuring natural hot spring baths for private use and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Our room was amazing, both the room and hotel are very clean. The room was quiet, our private onsen and garden were beautiful we enjoyed them a lot. There is a cattle in the room with tea and also a coffee maker. The staff was amazing, really friendly, very attentive and helped with all our questions. They reserved restaurants for us and brought us with a car to the restaurants. They also helped with arranging transport for our luggage to the next hotel. There was also a dedicated English speaking staff member. The location of the hotel is also great, it's higher up in Arima, which makes it nice quiet.

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. The owner is very nice. We were droping by to the station by the owner. The place is near to everywhere. And love the outside onsen.

Located in the quiet areas of Kinosaki hot-spring district, Sensui offers Japanese-style accommodations and 3 private reservable hot-spring baths. The staff were all so helpful and friendly and they really go beyond. Especially Ayuri who is so sincere and really great service provided from check in. Love the Tajima beef and crab meals provided by the hotel too.

Set in the woods by Mount Kuruhi, Hotel Shogetsutei is 5 minutes from Kinosaki-Onsen Train Station on the free shuttle. It features beautiful outdoor hot-spring baths and a spa. The resort private onsen at the resort was definitely the star of the show. It's only available to guests staying at the report and different from the 7 public ones. Highly recommend the half board with the buffet breakfast. The meals were so good and the quality very high, chefs kiss!

A 5-minute walk from the Kinosaki Onsen Ropeway, Japanese inn 城崎温泉 但馬屋-Tajimaya- features luxurious accommodation and cuisine, hot spring baths and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Breakfast and dinner served in the room. Different variety for the two breakfasts over the two mornings. Dinner is the variety that you choose from the available set menus. We had the crab one night (local fresh crabs) and Tajimaya Beef the next night. Multi-course meals. Delicious and great service. They also arranged to have luggage delivered to near the train station so we could continued enjoying the town on checkout day. You should come here. The location is also excellent for being in the quieter part of town yet near the baths and ropeway.

Onishiya Suisyouen offers beautiful hot-spring baths, a sauna and Japanese garden beside the Maruyama River. The whole experience was amazing! We were able to enjoy their mini garden view, since we arrived early and waited to be checked in. The staff was very welcoming and having a private onsen was really a big plus for us. Especially that their onsen has a bit tolerable temperature than the other onsens in the town. And the highlight of the experience was the Food!! We were surprised to receive 1 whole snow crab each, and the Kaiseki experience overall is unforgettable! I would definitely go back!
