A city on the move, Warsaw is constantly changing in an effort to rebuild what was lost during World War Two. There’s no better example of this than the stunning Old Town Square, where pastel facades sit alongside dome-topped spires.
Starting here is the Royal Route which passes several historic buildings on its way out to Wilanów, where an ornate Royal Palace is set in a huge park that was the retreat of kings since the 17th century. Just as grandiose is the Palace of Culture and Science, Stalin’s gift to Warsaw that still manages to evoke feelings of hatred and love in equal measure. Go up to the terrace for panoramic city views.
Other cultural offerings are the Warsaw Uprising Museum, considered the best museum in Poland, and traditional bars that still serve down-to-earth food washed down with a shot of vodka - a throwback to the Communist era. Don’t expect to find a seat though – there aren’t any.
Warsaw also has a thriving club scene and more shopping centres than you could throw a stick at. Not that you’d want to, as you’ll be too busy picking up the bargains.
Just outside the city is Warsaw Airport, efficiently linked by public transport to the city’s hotels, guest houses and hostels, available on Booking.com.

This is a very walkable city with many interesting attractions. I visited Lazienki Park which had the Chopin monument and also the Lazienki Palace. The Old Town also had many restaurants serving local food such as schnitzel and stewed pork ribs with sauerkraut. It was also great to go up the Palace of Culture and see the view of the city from there. I enjoyed walking around the mall located next to the central station.

Warsaw is the great surprise!
Warsaw is the great surprise! Far above my expectation, great architecture, perfectly clean and organised city. Plenty of great parks and green areas, long and massive boulevards...Great place to visit.
Only bad is I couldn't recognised lifestyle vibe. Real Metropolis but no metropolitan vibe unfortunately.
All in all, I recommend this place.

It is a nice city. Well coming and with a lot of potential.
It is a nice city. Well coming and with a lot of potential. A good mix of natural beauty, monuments and history. If one likes old european cities, Warsaw is one. We stayed in the centre of the city and there for food was no problem. Lot of alternatives were available. Public transportation is okay but it is very easy to get taxes and it is incredibly cheap.

Warsaw is historic and much quieter than Krakow.
Warsaw is historic and much quieter than Krakow. Personally, I prefer Warsaw over Krakow cos Krakow is far too crowded with tourists. And I feel Warsaw has more historical structures to see than Krakow.

Warsaw is very clean & felt very safe.
Warsaw is very clean & felt very safe. There were a lot of very good museums, we visited The Polin Museum, The Cold War Museum & The Warsaw Uprising Museum, all excellent.
We also enjoyed the parks where the trees were just starting to blossom. There is a lack of atmosphere due to the city having been rebuilt & restored but you can understand why.
We found good reasonable restaurants & tried as many different Polish dishes as we could. Not enough fruit & vegetables on menus though.
The hotel was a bit of a shock. very stark & utilitarian, like Lego blocks fitted together, I hadn't appreciated that it was more budget than others I've stayed in. It felt like a hostel. Having said that breakfast was perfectly adequate & plenty of it.
We also went to a Chopin concert which was wonderful.
Overall a great trip.

Warsaw has a never-ending offering of things to see and do.
Warsaw has a never-ending offering of things to see and do. This is but one of many trips we've taken to Warsaw and will not be our last. Take the time to do your research and you can find amazing things that the typical tourist doesn't get to experience. Also make sure to double check your visit against the City's schedule of events so that you can take part in something unique or plan your trip to avoid traffic and large crowds, whatever your cup of tea is.
It's a bit strange that with Poland in EU, NATO and so on not many people speak a second language. So it felt really good to hear staff speak good English.
The room was bigger than expected, of a good standard, with nice beds, and good pillows.
The cleaning was superb, I do not think I have been to a hotel where they have not missed something so a big thanks to everyone working with cleaning.
It's a 15 min walk to the airport but they offer a free transfer, so that is also good.
Hotel is in good location. There is a good grren area there. About 25 minites to the Old Warsaw. Lots of restaurants on the way to the Old Town and amazing library. You need keep in mind that it's a star hotel so do not expect smth extraodinary. The staff is very friendly. However, they messed our breakfast boxes and prepared two with hams. We checked only at the airport. The paper on them said that one was with cheese but both were with ham and my colleague couldn't eat it.
The hotel has all the minimum requirements: clean, easy access and well known brand. There are tram and bus stop nearby the hotel. Warsaw is bike-friendly city and there are bike stations everywhere, one of them is next to the hotel. The hotel locates 1.5 km away from the Old Town Square. You can either walk or ride a bike for free (first 20 minutes for free). Never tried the breakfast but there are many options including market and cafes nearby.
Perfect location, 10 minutes walking to every Warsaw attraction: Palac Kultury, The Presidents residence, the Old Town, Centrum Nauki Kopernik, the University's lybrary and many others. Quiet place, it was always possible to find a parking place nearby despite the fact it is the very heart of the city. The host is extremely nice and helpful. On the ground floor there's the best Polish cousine restarant.
I have stayed in many differents hotels in Warsaw, and this one is definitely one of the best I have tested. I liked the room and bed size, great bathroom, business type table and chair, quiet green location, free parking, well trained staff with good English skills etc. Didn't take the breakfast, so I can't give any comments about it. All in all very recommended, best value for money in Warsaw.
The room was beautifully designed and very clean. My room was very quiet even though it was facing a main road. The hotel is within walking distance from the station where the Bus 175 stops from the airport. The old town is also a nice comfortable walking distance from the hotel. I did not have breakfast at the hotel so I can‘t comment on that. I would definitely stay here again.
I booked the cheapest available hotel in Warsaw and checked-in at midnight, just 15 minutes after the booking; checked out at 8 am. This place is great value for money to stay for one night, they even have breakfast (from 7 am) included in the price. Located not far away from the Chopin airport (about 10 minutes by taxi at night) and 3km from the Warsaw West railway station.
We used this hotel as a base while travelling around Poland. Each time we went away the hotel took care of our suitcases allowing us to just take a small bag. Everything suited us perfectly here. Close to the old town, the Metro and the main train station, restaurants etc. I can highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again
Perfect place for visit of Warsaw, close to the Old Town, public transport (tube, trams, buses) in the near, Zabka shop behind the corner. Very tasteful breakfast, ideal ratio quality/money. Good restaurant in the hotel opposite. Amazing Lebanese restaurant Le Cedre, 450 m by walk.
I have stayed here before on business many times but that was pre- COVID. This was my 1st time to the hotel and with family and must I say. Nothing has changed in terms of service, quality of staff, facilities, etc. Always a 5 star. And I will be coming back when I stay in Warsaw
Beautiful modern hotel not far from the WAW airport. Very spacious and clean bedroom and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Quiet location. The best buffet breakfast I have had in Poland. Friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money. Highly recommended.
Close to the airport and the breakfast is the most varied we’ve had in Poland. Parking out the front or if you want to pay then there is in hotel parking. Restaurant in the hotel or there are a few others in walking distance from the hotel.
Concierge were above outstanding, kind, and tremendously helpful! The restaurants had to be the best in Poland! Room was well accommodating, very clean, large and comfortable. Many amenities available! Outstanding hotel.
Great location for all amenities in Warsaw city centre. Tram was across the road and took you to the old town which is definitely worth checking out. Great food both locally and at the hotel and staff were excellent
A very good hotel. Warsaw Central train station is walkable distance. They have a luggage room where you can leave your luggage for some short trips to some other places in Poland. I enjoyed my stay in this hotel.
MDM hotel has great location - close to city centre and the old town. The hotel is fine in general. It has spacious rooms, it's clean, the staff is nice, rooms are quiet.
It's the best hotel in warsaw. near the old town, 15 min walk to the old town. you can easy to found everything near hotel. food shop, supermarket, .....
