Quite, wake up with birds singing, view was great from my terreace. Room/bed was so comfortable and nice, clean. Bathroom as well. Breakfast has many delicious varieties. Garden was very lovely, missed the chance of dinner in the garden. Pool option is very nice. I had a chance to have sunbath and use the pool till I left the place even after check out time. Owners were very helpful and nice. It is 5 minutes walking distance to center. You have free park.

Exceptional hotel because of the tranquil atmosphere and the sense of beauty and hospitality that the owners have! A place to feel very welcome, but also to hang around casually by the pool or in the garden without being disturbed.

The property is very spacious with great facilities, especially for families (bbq, plancha, swimming pool, hot tub, huge garden, playground for kids, table tennis, petanque area, many toys for kids in the house, etc.).
Hosts are very nice to make you feel at home, very family friendly, and very helpful with any possible requests.
Very central location in the Luberon, making it a perfect place to stay and visit Provence.
Will definitely recommend the Bastide Magnolia to anyone, especially families, willing to visit this lovely part of South of France.

It was an excellent location to explore the villages in the area including Roussillon. Please note however, that it is not situated in any town, but in a lovely forested area near many beautiful villages.

The old property was, we think, a farmhouse.
The old property was, we think, a farmhouse. There was no a/c. 40 decrees day. Night too hot. Many door & windows wouldn't open for ventilation. Bathroom glass door panel was seriously cracked, as was panel on shower wall. Dangerous. Some elec. points old and loose. No tv. but didn't mind. Host, Christine, couldn't have been more helpful. Good breakfasts. Lovely location. Peaceful and quiet.

Rousillon is a cute little hilltop village - we had a wonderful stroll and dinner and overnight stay at La Maison des Ocres. I would recommend it for an overnight stop but not necessary for a long stop.

A few comments we read indicated some sort of weird vibe from this town, which made us second-guess our decision to visit and stay in the area. But we are so glad we didn't change our plans - we didn't feel that way at all. We loved Roussillon. The shops and the restaurants were great, most with balconies over the cliffs and very good, reasonably priced meals. Plenty to see and do in the area.

Roussillon is a beautiful little old village on a hilltop with magnificent views. There are lots of reasonably priced restaurants. There is a public car park quite near the centre which is not expensive and free on a Sunday.

Very picturesque & clean, with wonderful views of the cliffs & the
surrounding area & the entire town smelled great! Terrific place for
walking (if you like uphill climbs!); not so great for cars (not unexpected) but most car traffic observes safety rules. The Thursday market was full of beautiful, fresh foods as well as lots of things you'd actually like to buy! Perfect spot in Provence!
This is a great bed-and-breakfast (not a hotel!) with a friendly host. The room has a lot of charm and is very quiet. Bath tub and sink are inside the room whereas the toilet is outside (but you do not share it with anyone). The highlight was the excellent breakfast in the beautiful garden, which was the main reason why we had booked this room in the first place. Of course, this old country house does not have an AC, but the stone architecture kept the heat out and a fan helped us sleep at night.
Pascale was a very friendly host who showed us the house and gave us some tips but then left us to our own devices.... exactly as we prefer. She lived in the house next door so was available if we needed... but we had no problems. Her friendly dog visited us most days! House is only 5 minutes walk to the village centre, which has lots of eating choices, a couple of shop and an excellent boulangerie. Rousillon is a beautiful hilltop village, less busy than nearby Gordes or Menerbe.
Les Bartavelles is the perfect place to stay in Provence😊🇫🇷You’re just a few kilometers away from the most amazing cities. Quiet is unbelievable and the view from the room is jaw dropping!
Feels like home and if you like a strong and warm shower, that’s what you get😁
But the most valuable point is that the couple that owns the place are LOVELY people and they host you awesomely. The breakfast is DELICIOUS with local products and, of course tasty croissants 👏🥐😍
Wonderful small villa in Provence region. There was a really nice terrace adjoining living room and also a little backyard with a jacuzzi (that we used and listened to some beautiful acoustic guitar playing from the neighbors). Very clean and well organized. Excellent value and I would totally recommend to stay here as a base to explore the lovely Provence towns and villages further.
So so welcoming .. it is like a 5 star boutique hotel. The owners make you feel totally at home, a glass of wine by the pool, the most amazing breakfast, beautifully decorated rooms, areas for relaxing all around the pretty garden, books to read; it was all simply superb. The location is top also, I like running and there is are paths through the countryside for trail running.
Excellent hotel in a great position for exploring the Luberon. Very helpful and friendly staff; clean, well appointed room; good breakfast with a variety of options and a nice pool for a dip at the end of a long day’s sightseeing. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the centre of Roussillon, where there’s a selection of restaurants for evening meals. Highly recommend.
Beautiful home in a tiny village. The lovely decorating gave our room an upscale feel. Nice to relax by the pool with a glass of wine. Good breakfast and ample parking. Within a short drive to Roussillon which was one of our favorite places, but it would not be a walkable distance. Hosts spoke some English which was helpful.
Charming idyllic lodging! Our lavender cottage was everything we wanted and more. After meeting the staff the first night, we were mostly left alone in a good way. Location was great for visiting the rest of Luberon. Had a chance to try the on site restaurant before it closed for the weekend.
The hotel is in an excellent location at the centre of the village. The room was as expected, a little smaller than we would prefer but with a nice terrace. The staff were excellent and the food was outstanding. The dining room and terrace were exceptional.
1st. Rousillon is a very cool little village. It epitomizes Provence. The people in the town are very friendly, the food wonderful, the scenery very nice. Valerie has a 3 story apartment, done quite well. comfortable. I would go back.
Thank you Valerie.
Cristal is a lovely hostess. the place is sparkly clean and the location is great!!! walking distance to Roussillon. you cannot go wrong with this place. the medieval architecture gives the place a fairy tale and mystique flare.
Everything! 10 minute walk into Roussillon, a village of natural and exceptional beauty with its ochre mountains. The facilities were first class, the accommodations luxurious! An incredible find!
Wonderful host and hostess, Peter and Patricia. Beautiful B&B in a quiet area close to all the villages of the Luberon area of Provence. Delicious breakfast too! Highly recommend!
We had a great stay here, great views as you lay by the pool or have breakfast and only a 15 minute walk into Roussillon ideal for going for dinner. Would highly recommend!
