This is the perfect, family run accomodation just outside the busy centre, with 2 beautiful beaches a short stroll away. It is opposite the bus stop for Corfu and with parking.
The rooms are very spacious with a king size, very comfortable bed. The rooms are spotless and the shower is very large. There is a pool and a small bar which opens on demand and is closed early, so it is very quiet to sleep. The owners are truly dedicated to their guests, they know everyone by name and they have repeat business of all ages. Katerina is a lovely person and very helpful to organise taxis and anything you need.
There is a supermarket/bakery 2 mins away to get a coffee and a pastry so you can sit on the balcony and enjoy the views. The small kitchenette is perfect to make something light. The area around is excellent for swimmers and walkers. The donkey trail to Lavones village is great and an early trip to the monastery is recommended. Corfu is about 50 minutes on the bus.
Blending views of the surrounding greenery and the turquoise waters, Katerina Studios are set on a hill in the scenic Paleokastritsa. Magnificent Ionian Sea views are enjoyed.
Within 800 metres from the nearest beach offering water sports, Anemona Studios is close to traditional restaurants and shops in the area of Paleokastritsa.
The family-run Paraskevi Apartments is located in scenic Palaiokastritsa Village of Corfu, within 650 metres from the beach and the village centre.

That was an amazing experience! We stayed in Tango lux suit apartment with 2two bedrooms and bathrooms on the top floor (3 nights). We had a great time there and in Paleokastritsa. This apartment has one problem - the view from the balcony is so amazing that you don't want to go out, because You just want to sit and enjoy the view of the sea, the harbor and the mountains. :))) But in spit of this :))) we really enjoyed the small beach right next to the apartment and Paleokastritsa sights. In our opinion this beach is the best in Paleokastritsa. Thank You, Katerina, very much for Your hospitality and gifts! This was so unexpected. I also wanted to mention about supermarket next to apartment with freshly baked pies early in the morning.

Boats are available to rent.
Snorkeling gear is available for rent from the gift shop near the boat ramp. But unfortunately we didn’t see many fish in early May.

Paleocastrica- it’s nothing like picturesque village. It’s big parking sides with lots of cars and coaches ,very busy
Lots of abandoned ,rusted cars and boats just left on the sides of the road . Paleocastrica it’s a port
where tourists are coming to rent a boats for a day trip
Beaches are small, not clean , very overcrowded. Sea waters are polluted because each beach it’s a station for lots of boats
There is no decent place to eat .
It’s looking beautiful on pictures, but different when you’re there.
Disappointing

Great views and a couple of nice beaches.
Great views and a couple of nice beaches. The hinterland is beautiful with some good hiking. Town is a bit haphazard and untidy. Totally closes in the off-season. Closest supermarket (good) 2 kilometres, cafe 3 kilometres, restaurant (great) 5 kilometres away

Paleokastritsa is an absolute gem of a destination, and my recent visit left me in awe of its beauty and charm. The natural beauty of Paleokastritsa is truly breathtaking. The clear, turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea meet the lush, green landscape, creating a postcard-perfect scene. The jagged cliffs and numerous small coves and beaches make it a haven for nature enthusiasts, photographers, and sunseekers alike. One of the standout experiences in Paleokastritsa is visiting the Monastery of the Virgin Mary. Perched on a hill overlooking the village, the monastery offers panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding landscape. It's a peaceful and spiritual place that provides a glimpse into the region's history and culture.

We visited in October, and unfortunately a lot of the restaurants nearby were closing or closed for the season, so we had to make alternative plans/eat on a limited menu.
We still had a great time, but just worth considering if travelling around October!
We changed 3 times places in Corfu because we couldn’t find a good place to stay. We’re so happy we finally found Phivos hotel! It exceeded our expectations while being 2 times cheaper than the other (terrible) places we went to before. Really nice hotel, perfect apartments with everything you need, beautiful swimming pool, nice location with nice view and closed to some great beaches. The employees did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable and were very helpful. We will book again without hesitation!
Breakfast was very good and was included with stay and room was comfortable and very clean. We had a delicious dinner and drink on covered outdoor space facing the beach which was lovely! Hotel was also very good location see the sea, go to beach and walk to other places to have a drink or dinner. Reception was helpful and arranged a taxi for early morning flight! Hotel was very close to bus stop to Corfu town but getting to other parts of island was more difficult without car.
Property was very close to everything and the bus stop, which made it very easy to get to and from Corfu old town in about 45 minutes. Pool was very clean and the pool area was fun to hang out in, along with the pool bar. The hosts were very friendly, helpful, and nice to talk with. They take care of their guests and have return customers every year. Rooms had A/C and a fridge and stove top. Highly recommend for a stay in Paleokastritsa.
The area is fantastic, in fact the locals all told us that its the most expensive location to stay at, having said that this place is extremely good on value, it has all the facilities you need to fully enjoy the Paleokastritsa area and its surrounding beauty, so many beaches to choose from, so many restaurants offering fresh fish and local food, highly recommend. Hosts met us on time at check-in and greeted us, very welcoming.
My room had the most beautiful view over paleokastritsa. The place is in the BEST location. If you take a 2 minute walk down from the property, you reach a quiet and beautiful beach. There is a great supermarket (supermarket Kathy) 7 minute walk away and the bus to Corfu main/old town is right outside the property also! Vasilis is a lovely host who assisted whenever I had any requests or needed information.
This is the little paradise of Corfu! The place is really picturesque, full of flowers and the hosts are very nice and helpful. It was very clean, we didn’t expect cleaning every 2 days, especially for this reasonable price. Very close to the best beaches of the island and only 20 min. by car to the Old town.
We are really impressed and will come back for sure!
These were the most perfect accomodations! So homey and beautiful! And the host family was so sweet and accomodating and we felt spoiled with their kindness! The apartment is gorgeous and modern and the view is so beautiful it looks fake! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to return some day! This is the most beautiful area of Corfu to stay!
This is an excellent hotel. Really can’t fault it. Stayed in the Annexe which was really good. Plenty of room and everything works. Comfortable beds. Great pool area with plenty of beds . Excellent breakfast best I’ve had in the four hotels I have stayed in Corfu. Nice gardens giving shade. Very helpful staff.
Seriously good hotel.
Nice location. Clean rooms. Kitchen had everything you need for basic use. Nice balcony, nice green nature scenery from it. Cozy bed. Nearby there is a couple of restaurants and some shops when you go further in Paleokastritsa . All in all I recommend staying. I'll probably come again when I decide to visit Corfu again.
The superior west side bay view rooms are outstanding. The views are stunning. Hotel staff was so lovely, we truly loved everything about our stay. Sometimes big hotels can feel a bit too commercial, but Akrotiri Beach hotel, despite being a large complex, felt so warm and inviting. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Everything about the room and value of the room was perfect. We stayed in a 5* hotel in pelekas too in the same trip that wasn’t as modern as sea view and also didn’t have a sea view. It was also much cheaper. Overall the best value room in all of corfu!
Very nice location, close to the Green Line station that takes you to the Corfu town, and a 25 min walk from the center of Paleokadtritsa, a nice scenic walk. There’s a few super markets around it too. The host was super nice, everything went smoothly.
I liked everything about the hotel. Very welcoming staff, nice and cozy room with a balcony, and great breakfast. The hotel is located just across the street from the beach and very close to many restaurants and stores. Highly recommend!!
Friendly owner, modern plumbing, clean room, mosquito nets. Supermarket at the ground floor. Not so far from popular beaches (10 min walking by steep path to Elly beach; 30 min walking to Rovinia; both can also be easily reached by car).
The view and the host were amazing! I guess its the best view in Paleokastritsa or maybe Corfu. The host was so lovely and caring. We had so many extras. The whole stay was just perfect!
