The Opal Inn is only a 3-minute walk from the Umoona Opal Mine. It features free parking and an opal gift shop where guests receive a 10% discount. Only stayed the one night as we were just transiting through. Room was basic but clean & comfortable. On-site bistro & bar was good and handy being adjacent to the rooms.

The Blacklighters Opal Retreat-Undergound se află în localitatea Coober Pedy din regiunea South Australia și are un patio și vedere la munte. Didn't like a thing! It was the worst place we stayed in our 3 week holiday. We stayed at another place in Coober Pedy on our way North, same price point, entirely different experience. Cannot recommend this place in any way!! There are much better places (at the same price) to stay in Coober Pedy. Do not stay here! It was cold, dirty, delapitated and owner could not be contacted. It was absolutely pot luck (& a kind neighbour) who knew where they left the key and was able to let us in.

Located just 20 metres from the coach terminal and Coober Pedy's main street, Mud Hut Motel offers free unlimited WiFi and comfortable accommodation with a flat-screen TV with an in-built media... Mike at Front Desk was the best receptionist you could ask for. So helpful and friendly. The Room was big and absolutly clean. I've arrived early in the morning and the team made it possible that I could check in earlier even that the hotel was fully booked. It's nice to get a small complimentary breakfast as well to start the day right. All in all a great Hotel & Team!

Radeka Downunder Underground Motel is located in the centre of Coober Pedy, on the town's main street. Facilities include a fully equipped communal kitchen and coin-operated laundry. The staff at reception were lovely and offered a great first impression for my first time in Coober Pedy. Location was also great and within walking distance of most of the town.

Desert Cave Hotel offers unique underground desert accommodation in Coober Pedy. You can also stay overground. There is an outdoor swimming pool and free parking. The food and bar staff were amazing

It looks so simple from the street front, but you step into a different world. Really well appointed, relatively recently renovated and just a welcome respite. There was a brochure and discount for a local pizza shop, John's Pizza Bar & Restaurant, which was really good as well.
