The Apartment is situated in Deer Lake. The air-conditioned accommodation is 600 metres from Deer Lake Beach, and guests can benefit from on-site private parking and complimentary WiFi. That was the only thing I missed. A continental breakfast. I didn't expect a breakfast but I do enjoy that service when offered.

Providing garden views, Upper Humber Settlement a FarmStay B&B in Cormack provides accommodation, a garden and a shared lounge. We chose this accommodation based on the photos and the stellar reviews by previous visitors, and it did not disappoint. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owners, a friendly dog and Oscar the cat, and we were showed around the farm. The accommodation itself is beautifully-furnished and the breakfast was delicious.

The house is fabulous - stunning inside and out. The rooms are a great size with plenty of space to spread out, sort your luggage after a week of travelling and just generally relax. Steve has all the little things that make a stay special in hand. And then there’s Nico. The most placid, welcoming, charming puppy I’ve met in some time. And I’m more of a cat person. We had a great time. If we come back to Newfoundland we’ll go out of our way to stay here again.

The location was fine for the southern part of the Gros Morne National Park but quite far from the northern part. The lady who met us was very efficient and helped us a lot.
