I found everything perfect! The hotel is really comfortable, our room was pretty big and all of the staff simply lovely (especially Sulay really helped us with everything)

The hosts were so accommodating and made all of the reservations for our tours as well as picking us up in La Pavona and shuttling us in the boat back and forth to town. The morning canoe tour with Manuel was our favorite tour so far.

We had great 2 nights staying at the Chinita Eco Lodge. The owners are really nice. She only speeks spanish, but he also speeks good english so we always could communicate well although our spanish is very bad. They also organized a kanou tour for us including an english speaking guide, which was very great. The family room we had was very spacious and clean. The breakfast, which was included, was various and included also as much coffee as you want. You can also refill your water bottles for free, which is great. The dinner including a juice as well as a small dessert, can be booked for a fair price and was also very delicious. This lodge is located directly next to the water on San Francisco. If you want to relax, this lodge is ideal, because san francisco is not that touristic. The lodge also offers a relaxing area with nice hammits. If you want to visit tortuguero you will need to take the public boat, which costs only 1000 collones one way.

Aia, basseini ja spaaga Aninga Lodge asub Tortuguero rahvuspargist 3,2 km kaugusel. Majutusasutuses on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Lovely, very helpful staff. Full coach transport from San Jose and back, but hired a car and drove to the half way restaurant. Arranged by messaging ahead. Left the car there for free and picked it up on the way back k trough. 3 different tours included in the price. All meals included. Truly a wonderful experience.

With garden views, Laguna Lodge is set in Tortuguero and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. All the meals were served buffet style, but all the food was very good (and, obviously, with as much as you wanted).
