Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Sri Lanka! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, our names were mentioned on the board . The staff was extremely friendly, Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!Would definitely send a friend there.

The owner is super friendly and sweet, she was so dear! She helped with ordering food take away and was very accommodating with breakfast time, etc. Breakfast very tasty, airport is close by and they offer a cheap lift option.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Room was modern and spacious as well as comfortable. Employees at hotel were all helpful, friendly and professional. It’s extremely close to the airport so it was perfect for our late arrival.

Jayantha and his wife made sure that they made our stay memorable inspite of checking in at 1130 pm. The following morning they made sure we had our teas and coffes and was also kind enough to drive us to the airport. Another great example of ari lankan hospitality. We only stayed here about 12 hours but my parents totally loved it and loved the hospitality. The building is exceptionally well maintained for being over 100 years old with all the bathrooms upgraded with a modern contemporary minimalist feel with open spaces and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. Less than a 3 min drive to the airport, please stay here on your way into and out of colombo especially if a long journey awaits you. Highly recommended. 5/5!!

Close to the airport, the host was so kind to pick me up at the airport in the middle of the night. As a female solo traveller, that was a big plus! Great traditional breakfast, and much kindness in the house :) I would always come back!
