The room was small and basic, but you know that when you're booking it. It's clean, the location is perfect and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I really liked the little garden where you can sit down with some friends to chat, have drinks and eat some food. They also have bicycles and motorbikes for rent!

Good location, 2 min till best beach of Tekek and close to marina. Nice restaurant with acceptable prices. And very friendly, helpful and open-minded owner.

Το Tioman Cabana Bed & Breakfast βρίσκεται στο Tioman Island και απέχει 2,8 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος ABC Beach Jetty. I was supposed to stay for 8 nights, ended up staying for 11 nights, 12 days. And still I wish I could stay even longer. It's a place that I wish only I could know, but it deserves to be shared by many other cool people as well, I believe. :P All the aspects you would consider when choosing an accommodation - especially as a budget traveler - have exceeded my expectation. Clean enough, super safe, the fresh water system for washing after the beach time is well maintained. Various meal options at the dining, from local food to western menu. However, the best thing about this place is this the staffs and friends around there. Another thing that I loved about the Tioman Cabana is that it strongly encourages you a sustainable travel. No single use plastic or paper straws at the dining (though reusable ones are available upon request), you'll see what they value when you get there. Bring Coral-protecting sunscreens. Eat less meat(vegetarian meals available there). Pick up trash but nothing from the beach. Cabana is the perfect place where you could get the sense of belonging to the nature and ocean. Live musics on Saturdays (maybe it changes), and they play good music, it is amazing how they jam. Don't miss it. :)

Καθένα από τα δωμάτια παρέχει αυλή.... Staff was excellent and very helpful whenever we needed something. When having a lie-down we could see the ocean, very relaxing and nobody could look into the room from the outside through the glass doors. AC in the room. Wifi working properly. Location at the end of Tekek beach, so we had it all, unobstructed view of the sea and sunset and it felt like a private beach right infront of our Cabin to me.

Cleanliness (bed, chalet, bathroom and everything inside). It might be just a wee detail but the bathroom's trash bin has a cover, unlike some other places. Quietness (last resort southbound in Tekek, off the main road). Very close to the beach with furthermore a snorkelling spot (but it's better to wear swimming shoes) Walking distance to/from the jetty. Welcoming manager.

Το Tioman Chalet at SP Barakah, Air Batang βρίσκεται κοντά στην παραλία και προσφέρει καταλύματα στο νησί Tioman. Στις εγκαταστάσεις υπάρχουν 10 σαλέ. Wonderful, welcoming staff; a clean, comfortable, and quiet room; terrific location directly on the beach, and one of the first chalets from the jetty, with restaurants and shops just a minute away. The owners were very helpful and accommodating, with local info and recommendations. I had a truly peaceful stay, and would love to stay again. I highly recommend.

Το Tioman Dive Resort βρίσκεται κατά μήκος των ακτών του Air Batang και προσφέρει ήσυχα και άνετα καταλύματα με δωρεάν Wi-Fi στους κοινόχρηστους χώρους, δωμάτια και πρωινό. We loved our stay at the Resort. We went for just a mini vacation to relax and snorkel. The 7 minute walk down from the ferry dock is not difficult as it is similar to a sidewalk, so easy to pull a wheeled suitcase. Just walk to the end of the dock, turn left and it's on the main path. Well labelled and easy to find. The whole staff at Tioman Dive are so friendly, and when you went into your immaculate room with the air conditioning already on; it was just perfect. It's the little details that we love so much. Love the hammocks. The snorkel equipment to rent was the cheapest on the island and in the water directly in front of reception is an amazing reef. We saw a reef shark, lots of different kinds of coral and fishes. It was wonderful. The bar and surrounding restaurants had excellent food. We explored and walked down to the pizza place and it was fabulous. The staff even directed us towards another place when we inquired about kayak rentals at sunset. The wifi in the room was our only negative. The booking said there was Wi-Fi in the rooms but it's very spotty. Even our cellular service kept dropping. To have consistent connection you'd have to go down towards the lobby. Not ideal when you are responding to emails or have two teenagers in tow but we survived ;).
