Overlooking the Ume River, this eco-friendly hotel is within 5 minutes’ drive of Umeå city centre and airport. It offers free WiFi and sauna access and free parking. Location, room and facilities were excellent. We were particularly impressed with Ulf, who was on duty and who was very welcoming and very efficient and who made our stay a happy one.

Situated by the E4 highway, this hotel is 1 km from central Umeå. It offers free parking, free gym access and all rooms have free Wi-Fi internet. Umeå Teg Airport is a 7-minute drive away. Breakfast was amazing. The staff was even better. A-lot of good facilities as well!

Located next to Umeå University, Hotell Björken offers basic rooms with cable TV. Umeå Central Station is a 5-minute drive away and Umeå Airport is an 8-minute drive from the hotel. Everything about the hotel was excellent and we would come back

Hotell Gamla Fängelset is a converted prison from 1861 located in central Umeå and offers free WiFi and breakfast. All rooms have windows and shared bathroom facilities. Very nice hotel with a history of being a former prison. Close to the city centre. Friendly staff. Very affordable .Highly recommended.

Set in a former medical officer’s villa, this central Umeå hotel is 100 metres from the Ume River. Sauna, relaxation area and WiFi access are free, as is a light evening buffet. All was good. Reception staff were very helpful, dinner and breakfast was included. Dinner was buffet and from hot meat was only chicken but that was enough. There were potatoes and a lot of different cuts and salads and little things. Drinks had to be purchased separately. We enjoyed everything. Nothing to fault. The bed was comfortable.

Situated in the heart of Umeå, Elite Hotel Mimer faces the Twin Towns Park and the main commercial pedestrian street. Guests have free WiFi along with free access to a sauna and fitness centre. The breakfast was phenomenal! The staff was very accommodating, working with us to offer the best experience possible. They had a sauna that opened at 3pm, but if we wanted to use it a bit earlier, they offered to start it up a bit earlier. The location was perfect, right close to downtown, but also not right in the thick of it. Highly recommend!

Centrally located in Umeå and 50 metres from River Umeälven, this contemporary hotel has self-service check-in kiosks. The Women's History Museum is located next door to this hotel. It was a great breakfast. We loved the view from the room. The location of the hotel was good. It was very interesting that check-in and check-out at the hotel can be done contactless. It was a very different experience for us. We can't wait to come again!

This central Umeå hotel is just 50 metres from the Umeälven River. It provides free Wi-Fi, an on-site restaurant and bar, as well as modern rooms with a flat-screen satellite TV. This was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in a very long time. One of those rare occasions where everything just works, from perfect water pressure and hot water in the shower, good storage space in the room, comfortable room temperature, excellent bed, sufficient power sockets for charging devices, a really good hair dryer (very rare for hotels!), excellent breakfast and dinner restaurant, and all of it topped off with really kind staff which was incredibly service minded, smiling, and helpful. There’s no fridge or water cooker in the room so we had a cooker and ice buckets brought to the room and it was offered with great and genuine smiles.
