My room was comfortable, big windows so lots of natural light, I had the ensuite and the bathroom was big & clean. Felt very comfortable using the shared spaces and outdoor seating too. The neighbourhood is quiet. Easy, walking access to the hills/mountains you see from the garden. There's also a market maybe 10 mins walking away, though the staff is happy to run an errand for you. Can easily catch a bajaji from the market area to go anywhere in the city for about 800 TSH so I didn't feel the distance from the city centre was an issue to be honest. MOST of all though, Cecilia is a gem!! So lovely, kind and helpful. Bubbly and social but also happy to give you your space/alone time if that's what you prefer. Always happy to accommodate. And her cooking is amazing! Between her presence & her food, I felt at home :)
