Al llegar alguien me esperaba en el aeropuerto (servicio gratuito) para acompañarme al hostel. Esto siempre se agradece. El dueño, Arnold, que es viajero también, es un pozo sin fondo de información, que te facilita las cosas desde el primer momento. El hostel que es sencillo pero coqueto, está dentro del casco viejo. Llegar cada día y cada noche hasta allí es un placer viajero. El área es muy segura. Tiene un roof top muy aprovechable.

Un lugar maravilloso donde alojarte en Lamu. Su ubicación, la tranquilidad, la amabilidad del personal y de los dueños. La decoración es preciosa, cada rincón está cuidado con el más mínimo detalle. Puedes pasear por todo el alojamiento, leer en cualquier espacio... La habitación es muy amplia y la cama es cómoda. El desayuno para mi, lo mejor. Todo casero y riquísimo. Si vuelvo a Lamu, repetiré sin duda.

The house is a beautiful gem within old lamu town. The architecture is stunning, the rooms are freshened by fans and the pool is great to escape the day’s heat. The house staff is incredibly helpful and Peter was a great caretaker. We would also warmly recommend arranging a tour of the old town and of shela, as well as a boat tour if one wishes, with Abu. Abu is knowledgeable and loves his job; he is a great storyteller and a great artist (ask to see his recycled art). Walking around Lamu with him and learning about this unique place from him was a wonderful experience.

The staff and manager of the house so helpful. Lots of advice and recommendations where to eat. Also easy to find in the maze of Lamu, close to the jetty but far enough for a peaceful stay

The hotel is fully equipped with everything you need from fresh towels, body lotion and shampoo. Also if you go swimming often, they even have a hair drier. I loved the comfortable beds with good mosquito nets. More so, the hotel is very beautiful with Swahili architectural designs and furniture. During our stay, the staff were very kind and the Swahili breakfast was delicious. Jivanjee was so helpful in linking us to affordable services such as dhow rides and helped us in anything we needed.

The hotel arranged for transportation from the airport, which was a delightful short boat ride and felt very VIP. Staff was very professional, helpful and above all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel grounds feel like a little quiet oasis, so if you don't feel like doing much you can just spend the morning at the pool.

The design in this property is amazing, beautiful. The indoor pool is exquisite. The staff was excellent and the apartments large and comfortable.
