Located 33 km from Stavanger Maritime Museum, 35 km from Stavanger Art Museum and 37 km from Norwegian Petroleum Directorate, House by the sea - 3 bedrooms and possibility to rent a boat provides... Everything! The view, the quiet & peacefulness, cleanliness, comfort…now that we are back home we keep talking about how our stay at the House by the Sea was the best part of our trip to Norway. We loved having our coffee on the deck in the mornings as we read our books and watched the boats go by or the antics of the nearby goats. The woods around the house had nice hiking trails and were so pretty to walk through. Like something out of a Lord of the Rings movie. We also walked some of the trails around the island and visited the historic church. We used the house as our base for exploring the surrounding area. The ferry to Stavanger was easy to catch, reasonably priced and the views were lovely as we relaxed on the boat. Our host was attentive to answering any questions we had and was an excellent source of information about Talgje, Stavanger and Lysefjord.

Guest parking lot was just around the corner and always had a spot available. Host was extremely kind and helpful and checked in a few times via messages during our stay.
