Tämä yllätti meidät positiivisesti! Oltiin täällä kesäkuun loppupuolella. Meillä oli kaksi erillistä huonetta, molemmat siistejä ja viihtyisiä. Hyvä aamiainen. Sijainti vanhan kaupungin muurien sisäpuolella, joten kahvilat ja ravintolat kävelyetäisyydellä. Tänne haluaisin tulla uudestaan!

Of the hosts we've had on our five week trip to Italy, Stefania was the kindest and most helpful. We had difficulty leaving Tarquinia, owing to a train strike, and she was right there to do her best to ease the problem for us. Tarquinia, by the way, is a hidden gem, just 1 1/2 hours north of Rome - a walled hill town, in ancient times a capital of the Etruscan civilization. One of Italy's two major Etruscan necropolises is there. Wonderful painted tombs. The town also has beautiful, mostly medieval, churches and a major museum devoted to the Etruscans. We were there on a weekend - there were not many tourists, and they almost all Italian day-trippers.

Our room was cozy and quiet. Federica was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring our stay was enjoyable by providing great tips on what to do and where to go in the area.

I absolutely loved my first night in Tarquinia, Italy at B&B Nonna Luisa. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money. Location was great near the old town. Hostess Elisa was very sociable and friendly. She spoke a very good English and even took me for a walk in the old town. Her mother didn't speak English, but we used translator and hands. She invited me for an aunthentic Italian breakfast before my leave. Loved the experience! I highly recommend if you are on a road trip and look for an inexpensive stay along your way to Tuscany from the Rome airport. And Tarquinia alone is worth to visit one day as it is a former Etruscan necropolis. Lots of history, events and museums. The old town is very beautiful and landscape around it breathtaking. The town even smelled good with bakery and flower scents, and sounded great as birds were singing everywhere! Amazing fast-flying blackbirds crowned the experience. They were everywhere. Gotta love those little birds!

Perfect for those looking for a relaxing weekend outside the the city. The surrounding is beautiful and it is just great to have a coffee, breakfast or simply sit outside looking at the hills. The interior of the building is well curated and furnished with attention. Love to go again

Excellent b and b in the centre of town. Necropolis 20 min on foot. Many historic building easily accessible. Rooms are clean and quiet. Public car parking 150 metres, 3 euros for 24hrs.

Timber beams 100s of years old, but updated space with nice bathroom and ACFresh pastries from a local bakery and a personal shelf in the fridge for our family with yogurt and juice. Clean and nicely renovated with a small communal kitchen with enough to prep snacks for hungry teens. Good location in the center of old town. Absolutely worth visiting the Etruscan sites, accessible ancient history in a friendly medieval town

The property is a gem. The owner Garmy didn't go the extra step--she went the extra mile to help me. My GPS that came with the rental car did not show her road and I couldn't find the B&B. She met me downtown tarquina and had me follow her to the B&B. She also had me follow her to Civitavecchia to return the car to Avis and took me to my hotel there before catching my cruise ship the next day. Even after I was so upset when I could find the B&B. The room was so beautiful and perfect. She treated me like family.

Everything was perfect. I went for a relaxing weekend and to see the sights. It was perfect. All the breakfast was available in the apartment I had. There was cold water in the fridge when I arrived. The bed was comfortable, although I would have preferred a sheet between the comfort and fitted sheet.
