There was also a tray of goods we could help ourselves to (e.g. coffee, biscuits...), which even further showed how thoughtful the host is.

It is a lovely oasis in a quiet neighbourhood, from which Bordeaux can be explored by foot of rental bike (e.g. Lime). Staying here was such a treat; even with 39 degrees C, indoor comfort was pleasant. The house is beautifully and sustainably decorated, with a green small terrace at the back, kitchen and living space that can be used by the guests. Inès was a perfect host, for nice chats, preparing healthy breakfast and giving advice on everything possible. I felt very much at home here and will certainly be back when in Bordeaux again.
