Even though I don’t speak French the owner made every effort to communicate perfectly. She booked a table at a local restaurant for me and arranged for an early breakfast to fit my plans. We were cheerfully greeted by the gracious and friendly host and hostess. Our room was large, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. Both the dinner and breakfast featuring local dishes were outstanding. This is a good location for those interested in visiting the Battle of the Bulge sites, as we were.

This is a great place to stay. Easy to find and there was local parking available. The hotel was lovely with good view of the town and river. The rooms were amazing with a bathroom that was larger than our bedroom. The bedroom was of a very good size. Very comfortable bed. Stephanie, the hotel owner was lovely and a joy to meet and deal with. Breakfast was of a very good standard, high quality and a good selection of breakfast items. Parking - we parking in a covered car park which was a short walk from the hotel. Stephanie, is very easy to deal with very good comms.

Situated in Durbuy, in a historic building, 34 km from Plopsa Coo, Au doux Chardon is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and bar. The host was excellent and everything was unique. I definitely suggest you to go and stay for at least one night.
