He guided us in his friendly way to the top of the volcano and back. He took all the time we needed and was checking everything if we were doing fine. The house is just outside the village, very quiet and great view to the volcano. And he had cold beer. We needed it.

Queríamos hacer treking al pico volcán y nos propusieron tambien otra actividad de vía Ferrata para el segundo día. Impresionantes ambas. También hay otras rutas para hacer por las tardes y el pueblo tiene mucho encanto. Vas con el dueño de la casa, Rosy, que habla muchos idiomas. Nos hemos sentido como en casa. Muy recomendable para quedarte en Portela.

El casa alcindo se encuentra en Chã das Caldeiras y alberga un bar. El casa alcindo ofrece recepción 24 horas y un restaurante. El establecimiento tiene vistas a la montaña. Everything! Great Location, fantastic staff, very good food. Staff was always helpful and super friendly. The organization of guides, collectivo were perfect and the area is breathtaking. Don’t miss watching stars at night!

Room was absolutely amazing. José was there for all our needs. He is a man with golden heart for people. He also guided us to Pico. I highly recommend

Pipi's Guest House se encuentra en São Filipe y ofrece wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y bar. Playa de São Filipe está a 2,4 km del alojamiento. This was exactly what I needed a tranquil, beautiful tropical paradise getaway just far enough from the city to enjoy a peaceful day and night but close enough to everything. The airport is right there so perfect place to get your rest during your Cabo Verde getaway. Pipi and her family are a true blessing and are the best hosts I've encountered in a long time. As a frequent traveler I cannot say enough about how great this place was. Pool was the perfect size to cool off. The food was amazing. Cocktails were delicious. The room was spacious and super clean. Comfy bed, large shower (hot water). I could go on and on but words aren't enough. Go there check it out for yourself you will not regret it.

Casa Ze & sonia está en Portela y tiene vistas a la montaña, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Hay un baño privado totalmente equipado con ducha y artículos de aseo gratuitos. Ze and Sonia were super nice, friendly and accommodating. They could speak French relatively well. The room is simple but functional. The meals prepared were very delicious. The WiFi was good to work from there, and in case, the 4G antenna is located nearby. Absolutely recommended!

Me gustó mucho dormir en un kunfu(😂😂😂🫣 Leia), fresquito de día, cálido de noche. Joao y Leia son muy amables y serviciales. Recomiendo estar varios días para saborear el ritmo de cha de Caldeira, tan peculiar y precioso...🌋♥️

Gira Lua está en Igreja y ofrece jardín, salón de uso común y terraza. Esta casa rural dispone de restaurante, además de bar. La casa rural ofrece servicio de alquiler de coches. Yulia was an incredible host. We took our time to have a deep conversation with her about life in Fogo. She made us feel like part of her family, she shared with us all Cape Verdean values. She is an incredible cook and an amazing woman who made this journey very special for us. The dinner was massive and extremely delicious, her chicken in tomato sauce and the vegetarian cabbage dish left us speechless. Yulia appears to be a respected member of Mosteiros society and people spoke very well of her, her neighbours gave us fruit for free and were happy to chat with us. If you speak Spanish and you are patient enough, Mosteiros and Yulia can offer you an unforgettable experience.

Tortuga B&B está a pocos pasos de Playa de São Filipe y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, jardín, terraza y bar. Se ofrece wifi gratis. Treasured the breathtaking expansive black sand beach surrounded by mountains and basically having it to ourselves. Peacefulness. Roberto (and his cute dogs) are attentive hosts. He proudly provided a fine dining experience. This was a very natural experience in the outdoor bungalow, beach and tropical grounds compared to the large chain resorts that we normally stay at. Loved the very memorable two days there and great overall value.
