It’s a 10£ cab fare from the train station. Beds were very comfortable, and the room was nice. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and pans for making a meal. Breakfast was excellent: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, beans, waffles, dry cereal, juice, croissants, muffins and fresh fruit. Will return!

Boasting heated pool, Seahawk Lodge is set on the beachfront in Whitley Bay. This campground offers free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. The caravan was so well equipped - my sister and I felt like we were staying in a family home rather than just a holiday home. Great location for the beach and a short drive to restaurants shops. Communication with Janice our host was excellent and access couldn't be simpler. Janice left us fresh milk and treats - so welcome after a longish drive. The bonus for us - Pet friendly. We hope to return again - there is so much to see and do in the area. It is possible to buy a pass to use the resort facilities - although we did not.
