Pino, his family and the staff were all so welcoming and lovely! We ended up staying here longer than expected. The rooms were very big, clean and a great balcony to chill on! Food in the restaurant was tasty, bike rental was easy and the bikes were in great condition. One of our favourite stops during our trip :)

Toba Sunset features free WiFi. Each room has a balcony with views of the lake, rice fields and the surrounding mountains in Tuk Tuk. At Toba Sunset every room is fitted with a seating area. I stayed in one of the front lake cottage. it is clean, spacious and comfortable. The owner are super friendly and helpful. They also rent scooter. great value for money. super recommended

Offering a peaceful retreat amidst natural greenery, Horas Family Home is located in Tuk Tuk area on Samosir Island. Guests enjoy a direct access to Lake Toba and free WiFi. Everything, starting from the friendly atmosphere of a family run hotel with many facilities and activities for the guests. We lived in a wonderful apartment: clean, well furnished, ample and comfortable. We did not use the kitchen facilities that were available and exploited instead the very attractive and satisfactory meal options provided by the structure itself. In a word, we have been coddled for the whole length of our stay. Should we come back to lake Toba (which we hope) this will be the first address to look for.

Set in Tuk Tuk, Leokap Homestay has free WiFi throughout and a garden to relax. Rooms are fitted views and a private bathroom with a shower. Guests can enjoy daily breakfast. This Homestay is about 5 minutes walk from the ferry port. I had a pretty heavy suitcase with me and there was no way I could carry it on the uneven road and steep uphill. The owner, Marin, came with her scooter and picked up the suitcase right away. Upon the check-out was the same. Marin and Johanna were always available and very friendly. The view from our room was facing the lake and the beautifully maintained garden.

We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

The room/bungalow is quite big with nice view over the lake. The owners are very kind and helpful. Laster Jony's is for sure worth a visit. They will help you also with renting a scooter and with the transport from Parapat.

Offering direct access to Toba Lake, Toba Village Inn is set amidst a natural landscape. It boasts an outdoor pool with stunning views of the lake and Pusuk Buhit Mountain. Very comfortable beds, good lake view, staff were fantastic
