Mas Jali even took me to the local flea market, hunting some old stuff, and we went on a walk to malioboro. The other thing I like on my stay here is I can meet other travelers from various place with various interesting stories.

It was a beautiful stay very different from the regular hotels and I would strongly recommend it to visitors coming to Yogya. The architecture is gorgeous, the place peaceful and the staff were so warm and hospitable, always ready with any help or information you might need. Even if you come without planning for a driver or tour, they would be able to arrange and it is slightly better priced than some online portals. The location is on a quiet street which is great for us. The breakfast is a wonderful spread which is served as an individual set in the courtyard garden when you are ready. Don't miss this! We had different menus on the 2 days we stayed.

We were there for 3 nights and each morning was a different delicious and beautifully presented breakfast. The location was ideal for walking to the sites. Other than morning prayer at 4:45, it’s a very quiet location.

El ambiente del "Patio" es muy agradable y limpio. Aunque son habitaciones y baños compartidos todo estuvo siempre muy limpio. El equipo de empleados del Patio siempre mantuvo una actitud muy amable, profesional y servicial. Con gusto volvería otra vez y se lo puedo recomendar a cualquier persona. La ubicación es un poco complicada porque Google Maps se confunde y aunque vayas a pie o en taxi hay que ver el mapa varias veces.

The staff here was the most accommodating, they made us feel at home once we arrived and also checked with us about breakfast each morning. The property was great, rooms were spacious, and the common area was super nice. The staff even set us up with scooter rentals for a few days and gave us great tips for seeing things around the city. This was a 10/10 experience for us and we would recommend to anyone!

El dueño es majísimo y nos ayudó en todo lo que le pedimos y preguntamos. A 20 minutos paseando o a 0,5 euros en grab de una de las zonas más animadas con restaurantes y bares para turistas y mochileros.

It is out in a rural area well outside the city. Very peaceful and relaxing. Room was super clean and air conditioned with a large bathroom ( no a/c) and mini bar. ( Beer and cokes only) It has a small but good restaurant ( reserve meals in advance) and a lovely garden and pool. Looks out on rice fields with birds and nature all around. It is close.to a mosque and you can definitely hear the call to prayer. It added to the atmosphere for us and they turn down the loudspeaker for the 4am call to prayer!. You can borrow the bikes and ride through the working rice fields leased from the sultan. You certainly get to see authentic rural Javanese life but its not for those who want any kind of nightlife! Beer available but no wine, so bring your own if you want to relax over a glass while getting your authenticity!
