Oslo airport 15 features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Nannestad, 40 km from Oslo Central Station. Perfect stay especially when you’re in transit. The bus station is a 13mn walks and comes every hours when it’s late in the night. Apart from that, it’s super clean, the bathroom is perfect and the bed was super comfy. I spent a great night!

Offering city views, Bob W Gamle Oslo is an accommodation set in Oslo, 2.8 km from Akershus Fortress and 8.9 km from Sognsvann Lake. A very comfortable bed. Very well equipped. There was a balcony and there was a washer and dryer which came in handy. There was a Starbucks across the street and plenty of bakeries and close to bus and train station.

The APARTMENTS Company- Frogner is situated in the Frogner district of Oslo, 2.8 km from Hovedøya Island Beach, 2.9 km from Oslo Central Station and 1.7 km from Akershus Fortress. Location, location, location: While not in the city center, it's only 2 blocks from the bus/tram lines, a 10-12 minute ride to the center, and opera house. Also a short walk to the National Museum and those sites. Sidewalks were not too icy, when we arrived, and they were clear by the time we left 4 days later. Having the washer was essential, and clothes dried in a few hours on the provided rack. Communication was great, we received a message that we could enter the apartment an hour or two before the usual time, so we could figure out how to use the lock app while it was still light outside. Hint use Google translate if you don't speak Norwegian, because there are three locks that need to be opened. Once you figure it out, it's really efficient. Property is clean, in great condition, and even has an elevator. When we return to Oslo, will definitely rent again if available.

Boasting free bikes and views of city, Origo Leilighetshotell- Øvre Storgate 5 is a recently renovated aparthotel set in Drammen, 43 km from Oslo Central Station. This apartment-hotel is in the "old town" part of Drammen, more charming and more restaurants compared to the other side of the river (based on my observation and the comments from my colleagues who were staying in hotels on the other side of the river). The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and pots and pans. Espresso machine worked well - more capsules available at the supermarket across the road. Bathroom well stocked with hand wash and lotion, shampoo/body wash and conditioner. Loved having the washing machine - there was a drying rack and things dried quickly overnight. Bed was very comfy and so was the couch in the living room. Easy to cast from your phone to the TV for apps like Youtube and I believe there was also Netflix. Lovely view of the Bragernes church tower from the window (I was on the top floor). Elin provided quick assistance when asked via the Bookings.com app. Easy to get into the building with the app (download Upkey before your stay....instructions to do this came while I was travelling and it was difficult to download on the move) or a provided keycard and into the apartment with a short number. Short walk over the bridge to the train station - note there is an elevator on the train station side but you have to look for it behind the staircase, and no stairs on the hotel side of the river. Wifi worked very well, in fact better than the office I was working at during the week. Coworker had an even nicer room across the hall from me.

Central and cozy next to Oslo S offers accommodation set 1.4 km from the centre of Oslo and provides a garden and a terrace. Lots of space, we'll equipped kitchen, felt like a home from home and it had a washer dryer.

Boasting a bar, Wex Hotels is set in Fredrikstad in the Østfold region, 3.4 km from The Old Town and 36 km from Fredriksten Fortress. We had a corner apartment with nice light and gentle cross breezes to keep air circulating. All the furniture was comfortable. The kitchen had almost everything we needed. It’s so nice to have a place that feels like home rather than a traditional hotel, there’s so much more room. Many restaurants, bakeries and stores just steps away. Close to the bus station.

Boasting an open-air bath and views of inner courtyard, Det Gamle Meieriet is an apartment set in a historic building in Vidnes, 43 km from The Old Town. One of the highlights of my trip. Wonderful apartment, lovely facilities and absolutely spectacular host. Per Christian and his daughter were warm and welcoming, we shared drinks and stories and I had an all round great time. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful offer. The friendly hostess met us, told us about the history of the guest house and gave advice on how best to visit Oslo. I really liked everything. 10/10
