Gamboa Apartment Toucan y Studio Ñeque Is located in Gamboa. Each unit comes with a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a well-fitted kitchen with a dining area, and a private bathroom with free... We liked everything. We would move in there forever. We loved spending our time on the terrace observing all the lovely creatures passing by. We actually saw more animals there, than when we were hiking in the rainforest. There are some resident agoutis (Ñeque) in the garden, who pass by quite close if you are very calm. The host is super nice. The water in the shower is hot. The kitchen is modern and equipped nicely. The location is perfect to walk to Gamboa Rainforest Resort for the sloth sanctuary (and the other activities, but the visit at the sloths, butterflies and frogs was the best activity).

Casa-cabaña Jefe Indio /Playa Cacique is a recently renovated holiday home in Cacique, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. The property is secluded and part of the natural reserve. Surrounded by trees that hosts multiple species of birds and monkeys in the morning. It is a short walk to a calm Carribean beach. You need to explore to appreciate the full beauty of the area. The property is complete with everything that we needed to have a great family vacation experience. My room was fine, the bed comfortable, and looked right out on the sea....the staff were extremely friendly, and there was a very good restaurant close by....it was close to Portobelo, and the buses stop right in front ....thanks for a great stay!

Rainforest Lodge del Rio is situated in Portobelo and has a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. This guest house features free private parking and luggage storage space. Really big room and really quiet at night. Staff was really friendly and spoke English which is a big plus here.

Boasting mountain views, Jungle Eco Reserve features accommodation with a garden, around 34 km from Panama Canal - Agua Clara Visitor Center. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We were lucky there was a party and we had good food, karaoke and dancing all night. Don’t worry though, the tents and cabins are located in very quiet spots if you want peace and privacy. We went canoeing on the lake in the breathtaking jungle surrounding it. There’s also nice and safe hikes around, and you can do a ‘nature tour’ where you can learn about the jungle. Best possible start to our Panamá trip! Tip: Take the bus to Sabanita. Then take a taxi to the location. Don’t take the wrong bus like we did
