We liked everything. We would move in there forever. We loved spending our time on the terrace observing all the lovely creatures passing by. We actually saw more animals there, than when we were hiking in the rainforest. There are some resident agoutis (Ñeque) in the garden, who pass by quite close if you are very calm. The host is super nice. The water in the shower is hot. The kitchen is modern and equipped nicely. The location is perfect to walk to Gamboa Rainforest Resort for the sloth sanctuary (and the other activities, but the visit at the sloths, butterflies and frogs was the best activity).

Casa-cabaña Jefe Indio /Playa Cacique is a recently renovated holiday home in Cacique, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. The property is secluded and part of the natural reserve. Surrounded by trees that hosts multiple species of birds and monkeys in the morning. It is a short walk to a calm Carribean beach. You need to explore to appreciate the full beauty of the area. The property is complete with everything that we needed to have a great family vacation experience. La signora è stata molto disponibile: dopo averla avvisata del nostro ritardo, l’abbiamo trovata ad aspettarci all’ingresso. Ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa!

The restaurant has a beautiful waterfront view. Aside from the view, you can be picked up of left off right in front of the hotel, which is super practical.

Rainforest Lodge del Rio is situated in Portobelo and has a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. This guest house features free private parking and luggage storage space. Really big room and really quiet at night. Staff was really friendly and spoke English which is a big plus here.

Situato a 25 km dallo Stadio Armando Dely Valdes, il Jungle Eco Reserve offre un giardino, una spiaggia privata e una reception aperta 24 ore su 24. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We were lucky there was a party and we had good food, karaoke and dancing all night. Don’t worry though, the tents and cabins are located in very quiet spots if you want peace and privacy. We went canoeing on the lake in the breathtaking jungle surrounding it. There’s also nice and safe hikes around, and you can do a ‘nature tour’ where you can learn about the jungle. Best possible start to our Panamá trip! Tip: Take the bus to Sabanita. Then take a taxi to the location. Don’t take the wrong bus like we did
