This is the most wonderful property - steeped in history and oh-so-comfortable and luxurious. Rick (owner) and Tammy (host) were so welcoming and friendly. Tammy made us wonderful (complimentary) afternoon cocktails and Rick made us exceptionally delicious breakfasts (his French toast is the best I’ve ever tasted). The house is in a neighbourhood of gorgeous historic mansions, each a story in themselves. We cannot recommend Schaefer Haus enough.

All the kindness, great food, decorations, and holiday spirit that Kim and Michael showed us was exactly what I wanted and hoped for in a B&B at Christmas. JACKPOT location and I will definitely be back!
