We were given a very warm welcome and were well looked after by Maykel and his family . He arranged a volcano guide and we ordered packed lunches which were perfect at the top of a long hike . It was really useful that we could rent Maykal’s scooter as we had taken a taxi from the port. With large backpacks renting motos at the port would not have been fesible for us. Having independent ( not taxi) transport is, I think important to have a relaxed tour of this beautiful island . The roads are quiet and generally very low speed so biking is easy and the main way people get around. We had a wonderful , large room and big bathroom with a shower. There was a terrace where we sat peacefully in the evenings watching and listening to monkeys and enjoying the sunset. The food is all cooked to ordered. We had excellent breakfasts and we ate in 2 out of 4 evenings. They ask that you order your meal in advance so it can be freshly prepared. We were really happy with the location. Close to a lake beach, but close using the moto to the best sandy beaches- Playa Mango and San Domingo. The WiFi was excellent . We were so pleased we chose The Jungle and highly recommend it.

Ryan and Angela were incredible hosts, with really helpful contacts and plans to spend a wonderful and efficient stay. La finca is a place that seems out of Disney with butterflies, birds, and even monkeys. The food is great. Go there without hesitation !

everything! it was a beautiful space, the bed was comfy, the staff were kind, the breakfast (at additional cost of a reasonable $5) was awesome, it was a great location, the “in nature” feel was perfect and the VIEW!! amazing

The location and atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful, a stunning place to watch the sunset. It is very handy to be able to rent a moto there as you will end this to get around.

Le lieu est exceptionnellement bien placé et tenu par des gens vraiment adorables. C’est un endroit paisible au coeur de la nature, avec un magnifique jardin et au pied du volcan Maderas. Pas de musique, ce qui nous a permis d’écouter les oiseaux chanter et même d’observer un colibri. L’ascension du Volcan Maderas avec notre guide, Fauto, était vraiment une belle expérience ! A 1,5 Km de la route principale, le début de l’accès sur route bétonnée (600m) est facile, puis il reste 9m sur de la piste, ça monte, c’est cahoteux mais ça se fait en mini-moto (Honda Navi).

Trop jolie maison de bambou avec vue sur la jungle et les volcans! Séjour exceptionnel dans ce petit paradis! Magnifique cuisine extérieure à 100m de la maison. Très bon déjeuner, employé super sympa. Je recommande un ATV pour se rendre!
