We had a lovely time at Rancho Estero. We stayed in one of the cabins/huts without private bathroom. The shared bathrooms are kept clean at all times. The property itself is beautiful and has an outside kitchen as well as lots of hammocks in the shade. You can easily arrange trips to Coiba via the hosts- definitely recommend this trip as it was organised so well. We extended our stay since we enjoyed Santa Catalina and Ranchero Estero so much.

Good vibe, very social. Location is good - right across a fruteria and supermarket, 5 minutes to the close beach and about 20 minutes to the surfing beach. Fully equipped kitchen and lots of refrigeration space. The hostel offers shuttles and fairly cheap tours to Coiba

The staff is amazing and very friendly and it also has a great location close to the restaurants and the sea side. Great that the huts have AC, that really helps.

The view was 5 star. The cabin was basic but comfortable. Only a short walk to the beach. Our hosts were very helpful. Great place to chill out, surf , read and rest.

Owners were extremely nice, Steven was very accommodating and helpful. He helped us get a shuttle to Panama City when there were protests and road blockades nation-wide. Also the pancakes in the morning were a great breakfast.

Beautiful location. View is amazing. Calm. Trees and plants. Well maintained. Direct access to the beach. Restaurants / bar less than one minute walk. Owner are available and very helpful. They can organise tours for you. There is a kitchen you can use including fridges. Chalets are comfortabel enough and clean.

Santa Catalina is not very huge, so everything is next to the hostel - beach, supermarkets, even an ATM. The cabins are very comfortable, with its own bathroom and sitting area infront of the cabin. We could book a snorkeling trip to Coiba Island when we checked in. That was very comfortable and easy to handle (just cash). The Wifi quality is very good.

Very nice and helpful staff that recommended us a fantastic trip to coiba island. We had a cabin with sea view which was amazing! The cabin was very clean, as shown in the pictures online, and the whole facility had quite a special flair. We had a great stay in Santa Catalina, thanks to everyone☺️
