Location was great. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, it was a pleasure to meet you both and thank you for your hospitality. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Our bed was super comfy, probably better than our own at home. I have no problem recommending a stay at Laurelview.

As we only stayed overnight,we did not have a chance to see the surrounding countryside. We were surprised at the size of the area, considering we had driven the highway literally hundreds of time over the past 30 years.Relatively close to a good feed - the property is newish and very comfortable and as we arrived late on the day the Matildas played their World Cup epic game - the internet was down, but the owners kept us informed as to its reconnection - unnecessary but much appreciated.

This is certainly not a spiritual retreat a more descriptive word would be “Backpackers Accomadation”the location was filled with noisy arrogant backpackers whom left their rubbish all over the place the rubbish bins were continuously overflowing and stank . Their were no COVD measures in place at all 😡 The grounds and surrounds were overgrown and lot of junk lying around the grounds . The photos presented on the website of the place were false advertising and very misleading one of the photos features a dam which is not part of the property at all . The rooms lead you to believe you will be staying in a queen size bed this is not the case rather you are put in a donga the size of a sardine can not impressed at all !!! The ambiance of the place leaves a lot to be desired especially when the host burns off any excess waste including toxic plastics in a fire pit close to the rooms certainly no concerns for the environment here .☹️ Overall I don’t suggest staying here unless your looking for budget accommodation that’s it in a nutshell . And just in case the owner Sheree disputes any of the above there are others whom were staying there who completely back up my views expressed here .
