The apartment had a great location and everything we needed. It was reasonably sized for the three of us, clean and owners were very helpful and caring both before arrival and after. We went for the "Opale Harley Days" festival, and did not spend much time on the beach, but we did watch the sun set over the sea which was beautiful. It was obviously very busy when we went but we could still see that it was a lovely resort, with a number of good restaurants and bars. The area is very clean and the roads very good with wide pavements and cycle lanes. There are some beautiful and interesting houses, some with curving thatched roofs, circular chimneys and unusual steep triangular shapes. A very pleasant and relaxing place to be.

Hardelot is a very (very) green spot surrounded by extensive woods and dunes. The architecture is surprisingly harmonious and tasteful. Family-friendly. From Hardelot you can easily reach the Cote d'Opale with the two 'caps', charming Wimereux, buzzing Boulogne-sur-Mer with Nausicaä for kids and families, sophisticated Le Touquet Paris-Plage, ...

An overnight as we came home.

An overnight as we came home. To be told the dining room was full was annoying. Stuck out and got a table and there was an empty table for 2 at the side of us so, what was that all about???? Breakfast very chaotic and cramped but ok. Expensive unless you are going to eat all on offer. A mile from the town so best to eat at the hotel. Bar man very snooty but reception very good. For this price room should have tea/coffee making facilities. A bottle of water is not enough. Room very quiet with double doors to ensure noise does not travel.

it was attractively decorated and furnished to a high standard for a hotel of its class we enjoyed sunning ourselves on our balcony and sitting in the garden. The breakfast was very good especially the scrambled egg and the honey which was still in the comb
