Overall, very friendly accommodating staff throughout. Attention to detail, generous and well above-norm luxury guest amenities and gestures. Great array of facilities for children - exceeds many larger luxury hotels'. Generous sized spa & pools. Very good dining options with variety of culinary styles and skills (perhaps lacking the simple casual comfort food array a bit). Unbeatable location if you want to be in the heart of the village and still be ski-in ski-out. Ski Room (set-up and service) is one of the best if not the best anywhere in the Alps.

Mary and Stéphane were so welcoming and kind from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The hotel is conveniently located in the Le Fornet area of Val d'Isère, a quick free bus ride from the centre of town. You can also access the slopes from the nearby Gondola.
The hotel was very clean and the room comfortable and had everything we needed. We used the Spa one day and enjoyed the Hot tub and Sauna.
Stéphane made lovely omelettes for breakfast and there was a good choice of cereals and fruit juices.
The rooms were kept lovely and tidy by the staff during the stay and we would definitely come back again.
Thanks Mary and Stéphane A Bientot.

From working whole seasons in France and Switzerland Val D’isere definitely provides. The valley traps snow meaning it’s snow sure. The espace Killy has a great ski area for all levels although the ski area doesn’t offer a lot of ski in ski out and the only way from Tignes is either le face or le daille. The town is nice, always busy and a great selection of cuisine and bars.

Excellent and varied skiing, altitude guarantees good snow, village atmosphere, plenty of shops and restaurants, regular free bus service around the resort. A perfect winter destination.
I recommend 'Underground' 'Cocorico' and 'Doudoune club' for after-ski fun.

Very good resort with excellent choice of ski runs and plenty of lifts. Resort bus service is great. Long transfer from Geneva (3 hours drive) but worth it. Great choice of restaurants of very good quality, but eating out can be expensive.

Great location and epic view out over some of the runs at La Daille from our balcony. Apartment was cosy and comfortable, kitchen had all the cooking utensils and plates etc you'd need. Checking in was tricky as there is no reception but it got sorted pretty quickly. There is no common drying room for ski gear, so hang your ski clothing on the hooks in the apartment to dry. Handy supermarket located nearby and the shuttle bus is easy walking distance to take you to Val d'Isere. We stayed in the winter so the pool wasn't operating, but overall a delightful winter ski base.

bad situation as to reach it by car or train it s a nightmare . the roads are plenty of holes and the travel is too long. Also we have been in a restaurant fondue factory ski gallery : food awful and even not able to cook good pasta as i have been told it was a spaniard to cook italian meals !!!! the pasta was burnt and not al dente. The boss of the restaurant was very friendly and commercial and made some discounts after we told him what was going on.

Val Disére is the best place I have ever been for skiing!
Val Disére is the best place I have ever been for skiing! The system is amazing, so big and with so much opportunies! We were so lucky with the weather and that was also making it even more amazing. I highly recommend Val Disére!
The hotel is right across from La Daille telecabine and slopes where my daughter had a slalom race. Very convenient. I parked La Daille public parking (1.90m max) which cost me 28€ for about 24 hours. They said this was the best option. Staff was great - standouts were Abdur and Tom who were extremely helpful with check-in, luggage help, keeping luggage after check-out… Breakfast was amazing. Homemade pancakes, sausages, eggs, variety of bread (awesome seriously), and the pretty coffees. I would definitely stay here again.
We were really impressed with this hotel. We loved it because of the people working here: it's a 4 star hotel but 5 star service. Every single member of staff we met went out of their way to help. I had a lot of pre trip queries and requests prior to our stay, and the reception team responded quickly and positively. The team at breakfast and at dinner were superb. Ski hire through Jerome was very easy too! The hotel has clearly recruited a great team. We would stay here again.
An outstanding location one little block from the slopes. Claire (property manager) went above and beyond prior to the trip and upon arrival to help us with transportation logistics when we ran into booking problems. The apartment was well designed with an excellent floor plan for our family. Each bedroom with its own bathroom and tub/shower. Even the kitchen was stocked with cooking oil, condiments. We would 100% stay here again and recommend to friends.
The Annexe is the annexe part to the Hotel Les 5 Freres in Val. The Annexe is more basic and Les 5 Freres more luxurious. Breakfasts, ski room, reception etc all at Les 5 Freres so this was all excellent. Super helpful and friendly staff, large buffet breakfast with extra LARGE coffees, which we loved. The location is super good, right by the beautiful old town of Val d'Isere and a very short walk to the main ski start area.
Location is very central, walking distance from the ski lift, best restaurants and shops.
Hotel is very nicely decorated, rooms are very cosy, comfy bed and bath tub.
Staff and concierge were very professional and helpful.
The Spa is quite enjoyable, with steam bath, 2 saunas, 2 jacuzzis and a pool.
Good international breakfast overall, with both sweet and savory options.
We would definitely stay again...
Really well located with ski hire and a supermarket next door. Staff were friendly and the daily breakfast was more than expected.
This is not a 5 star hotel but it’s very good value for money and the rooms are clean, basic but have everything you need.
Free parking was a bonus and they kindly waited up for us as we were delayed.
+ Excellent service in the hotel, comparable to 5 star level; very helpful, polite and friendly staff at the reception and at the restaurant
+ Very convenient location - 5 minute walk to the main ski lift in Val D'Isere, bakery / pharmacy downstairs
+ Good breakfast
+ Small but nice spa
The location to the slopes and the centre of town was perfect.. But it’s the staff who really make the hotel stand out - cannot emphasise enough how helpful they all are. Plus we really liked the old school feel of the place, just very calming after a day on the slopes.
The apartment we stayed in at the hotel was spacious for our family of 5, comfortable and nicely decorated. Great location in the hotel, next to pool and sauna as well. Excellent breakfast that was included as well! Great location to hills and town restaurants.
Great location, clean modern interior with a heated boot room. Short walk from the lifts. Complimentary coffee / tea for residents at hotel. Restaurant was convenient but Italian menu a little limited, good French food may have been nicer
Breakfast was nice although pretty simple. The hotel (Hotel Altitude) and staff were first class top shelf the whole time and I would strongly recommend that hotel to anyone staying in Val d'Isere.
The staff are absolutely excellent, in particular Nico who went above and beyond. The hotel is old which has a charm but could do with a little refresh but we would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Bought a ski pass at reception. Breakfast excellent and plentiful. Staff friendly and fun. Comfortable bedroom, spa, useful ski/boot room, meets the requirements for a ski hotel. Slept like a log.
Beautiful hotel with great facilities - Spa, small pool, steam room etc. It looks like it is recently refurbished - everything was a very high standard. Highly recommended
Overall very good. Lovely friendly hotel with a great bar. Breakfast was very good and all the staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent ski room and heated ski lockers.
