Everything. Superb setting. Superb building. Fabulous view gorgeous decking and views. Glorious flowers. Really lovely bedroom huge bed. Great pillows. Good coffee and biscuits. Breakfast the best we've had anywhere in 20 years. Every last thing perfection. We loved it.

Set in the pretty village of Ardfern, among the hills and beside Loch Craignish, the 17th-century Galley of Lorne Inn offers award-winning accommodation and a rustic bar and restaurant.

The hotel has been refurbished and everything is new and in good condition. There are very interesting pictures on the walls and also objets d'arts. Good supply of tea, coffee etc and also tissues! We had a delicious dinner and our table had a fabulous view of the loch. The location is sensational and there are lovely areas to sit out.

Melfort Village is set in a lochside location, 24 km from Oban. Furnace is 23 km away. The units include a dining/seating area with a satellite flat-screen TV.

A beautiful and peaceful place. Welcoming, friendly staff. Well furnished with spacious kitchen and everything we needed. Seating area outside with lovely views. So nice to eat out in the sunshine. Much more than we expected

Overlooking Loch Feochan with panoramic views of rugged mountains and tranquil islands, Knipoch House Hotel is just a short drive from Oban, the seafood capital of Scotland and a gateway to the Isles....

The hotel was stunning inside and out and set in the most beautiful location.We booked a suit which was very spacious and very comfortable with views over the loch.We had our two small dogs with us,the hotel provided two dog beds and bowls which were much appreciated.The staff were very nice. The staff member who stood out from the rest was the lovely Janice.She was so kind and friendly with not only us but all the guests,her warm engaging personality is an asset to this fabulous country house hotel.

    Very comfortable, nice room and en suite. Plenty of space. Easy to book a table for an evening meal at the nearby Hotel. The B&B breakfast next morning was great. Friendly hosts who helped all guests feel at home. Excellent supply of books and tourist info.

    The area is very interesting.

    The area is very interesting. The Nation Trust Garden is next door. Boat trips are available from nearby Marina. The slate islands are worth a visit with small ferries giving access. The village of Ardfern with facilities and cottages for hire abound Some fine fare to be had.
