All our requests for a quiet room were met. Staff could not have been lovelier. In particular in the breakfast room they could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The location is excellent.

Good location, and had an EV charger, which is a bonus. Also went above and beyond to cater for my Coeliac disease and cooked a gluten free fish and chips.

Chose this location solely on the basis of internet search - and it exceeded our expectations. Lovely old coaching inn in a quiet village. We were allocated one of the newly refurbished guest rooms - which surely equalled a 5-Star hotel! Excellent evening meals in relaxed pub setting - although we could have sat in the separate restaurant with its classy decor. Staff all very friendly and helpful - including the nice lady on reception who went to the trouble of typing out her suggested itinerary for our day of exploring some of the area! Would strongly recommend.
