Lovely little B&B in the heart of Norfolk. Andrew was brilliant and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed (he even loaned me a toothpaste when I forgot it!). Breakfast was delicious, we had a choice between cooked and continental, and both were tasty and filling! Loved our stay in the quiet pretty village of East Harling and recommend it as a great base for exploring Norfolk/Suffolk.
The Elms can be found on the edge of Thetford Forest in East Harling village.

I arrived and was greeted by name by Alan. After a quick walk around, I was asked if I wanted a drink and shortly after, a cuppa and a slice of lemon drizzle cake was provided to me in the dining room. I spent the evening talking to Alan and Julia before retiring for the evening to get up early for a track day at Snetterton just a few minutes down the road. Breakfast was amazing with local produce and the sausages were incredible. Thanks to both! I'll be back next time!

A little gem: this place has everything you could possibly need with the host next door to help out if needed. It’s been created with great imagination and even has its own little private garden. It is excellent value for money.

Great facility, clean with everything you need for staying away from home, has become a regular place to stay when we are in the area. Couldn’t ask for more

The location seemed fine when I booked Sunset House.
The location seemed fine when I booked Sunset House. Having the Nag's Head within walking distance was great for dinner. But we wanted to vary the restaurants where we ate and ended up as far away as Thetford. Not a big problem, but something I should have foreseen. Otherwise, the location worked well for an exploration of Norman and medieval churches.

Our host, who owned the B & B, was exceptionally charming, knowledgeable and efficient. Only 3 guest bedrooms are available, and breakfast was served in an open plan kitchen/diner - our host introduced us to the other guests and whilst cooking our delicious breakfast made sure that we each felt welcome and that the conversation flowed well.

Lovely village just off the A11 and handy for Norwich, Thetford and Snetterton raceway. Excellent Co-op type store in the centre of the village and Rumbles - a superb fish and chip/kebab shop. I didn't get to try a local pub because of Covid-19. You need a car to get around ideally, not too many buses. Only drawback -no Link cash machine should you need cash !!
Julia and Alan were superb hosts and just couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was within a few minutes' walk of the centre of East Harling so very convenient. Our room was tasteful with comfortable beds and a hearty breakfast in the morning. Julia and Alan were friendly and welcoming and made sure my mum was well looked after during the day while I was on business. Would strongly recommend!
The perfect B and B. Room exceptional: having pukka herbal teas an example of the thought that has gone into it. View from room also exceptional: glorious Norfolk countryside... Was welcomed impeccably; I'm not surprised it has such a high rating on Booking.com. Breakfast superb, bathroom very good, and without wishing to denegrate the hotel, excellent value. Thank you so much, you enhanced my visit to Norfolk hugely..
Andrew was a friendly host who showed us around the property, including our room and several other relation areas. The room was well furnished, clean and comfortable and the breakfast tasty with a good choice of quality produce. Parking onsite was ample and secure. The village of East Harling is picturesque and had a good, well priced menu.
Great location - probably the closest B&B to Snetterton Circuit. Price far cheaper than other local hotels. Big choice for the included breakfast. Run by the friendliest couple you could ever hope to meet. Very busy though so you will likely need to book far in advance.
Excellent bed and breakfast. Very high standard with the accommodation being akin to hotel quality. Scrupulously clean and comfy. Very good host who was happy to let us check in early and was readily available if you had any queries. Would highly recommend.
Top notch in all areas. Highly recommend this B&B for business or leisure. No evening meal available but a short walk into East Harling for food. The Nags head is were I had Dinner and this was also top notch.
Everything. The location was amazing the hotel was so sparkly clean. The room was exceptionally comfortable. The welcome was top notch and the breakfast was brilliant.
Set in the village of East Harling, local amenities close by the owners are warm and friendly and great hosts. Loved our stay and breakfast was fantastic
