Very easy to find once we realised that it was located in the race course grounds (our fault for not reading the small print because it was made very clear!) Close to the high street so that we had no trouble going out to eat. Receptionist was nice & friendly & helpful. Our room was really great - clean, modern & comfortable. In tge morning the breakfast was plentiful with some nice food on offer and nothing was too much trouble for the lady who was attending to everyone.

Good location for Esher and the racecourse. Lovely restaurant a few minutes away. Great breakfast with beautiful poached eggs. Fantastic host. Definitely would stay again.

Good location for following days 1st meeting, room was small but very comfy, bonus having air conditioning, great shower. Food was unusual but having tapas for evening meal was quite enjoyable and a break from the normal offerings.
Breakfast was lovely start to day.

Inside the South Stand of Twickenham rugby stadium, 4.7 miles from Heathrow Airport, this stylish 4-star hotel offers a health club next door and satellite TV.
Esher is well situated just outside of London. Central London is an easy train ride from Esher to Waterloo, I reckon it's less than half hour away. Esher has great pubs & restaurants and lots of lovely green areas. It's also home to Sandown Park racecourse. A lovely part of the world.

A lovely little town in Surrey.
A lovely little town in Surrey. Some very decent restaurants nearby. We also visited Cobham, Guildford and Dorking. There is a lot of British heritage to enjoy, and some charming National Trust locations in the area as well.

Nice high street with some very good restuarants , walking distance to Sandown racecourse and 20 mins from Kempton so perfect for our stay. Not far from shopping in Kingston and also the river Thames and the great walks you can have.

Esher is a compact town with a proliferation of estate agents and restaurants.
We ate at the Cote Brasserie where we had a most enjoyable evening
and, bearing in mind this was Esher, it was very good value.
Getting around Esher on foot is easy but in a car is decidedly more difficult and parking can also be problematic.
The location was lovely. The front beer garden very relaxing. We enjoyed a few drinks and spoke to some of the locals and got a feel for the area. Walked into Esher and had dinner at the Wheatsheaf which was amazing.
Breakfast at the Swan was lovely.
Amazing shower. Lovely touch with the sensor lights in the bathroom, no need to put the big light on.
We recently stayed at The Swan whilst visiting family in Esher. Our room was most comfortable and immaculate as was the attractive ensuite. The staff were very friendly and most efficient. On this occasion we only had breakfast however in the past have also enjoyed dinner. Excellent food and hospitality. looking forward to our next stay. Thank you.
Excellent value for money; especially in the salubrious area of Esher. Clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated room, immaculate, fantastic location, friendly guy who checked me in, what more can you say? - oh yes there was a fan and a coffee machine in the room ( however one tiny thing - I would have liked some biscuits!)
A great weekend at The Bear. Staff are attentive, helpful and friendly. Location is perfect. Rooms are impeccable: clean, thoughtfully decorated and spacious. Breakfast is served until 11:30am so it’s perfect for those of us who enjoy a relaxing morning. All in all, a great place to stay! We’ll definitely be back.
Staff were great, I was a lone women traveller, they had pre booked a table for my arrival and were very attentive, I stayed in a little cottage to the side of the pub which was lovely and quaint, I was pleasantly supprised. It had all the facilities you need.I would definitely recommend this boutique hotel.
Great location for a getaway. The hotel has all you would need; the rooms are a good size and clean. The staff are all friendly, too. I did not try the breakfast, but had an evening meal from the bar. I had the burger which was very good. Good selection of beers, too.
I did not use the facilities on this occasion as I was a late arrival. I used the local restaurants as I had stayed at the hotel before and fancied a different style of food. The food is generally good at the hotel but is traditional on the nights in question.
The lady at reception was so helpful and friendly. I had requested an early breakfast and she happoily arranged this for me. The room was spotless. A lovely stay. Wifi was also good which for a hotel these days is rare :)
Very cozy little place with table just out the door where you can enjoy your morning coffee. Close to train station where you can par car for whole day it cost 2£.. Next to door is Spanish restaurant with excellent food.
The selection of pastries/cereals for breakfast was lovely
Hotel was spotlessly clean throughout.
I didn’t catch the receptionists name but she was a lovely character. Very very welcoming and friendly.
Lovely rooms separate from the main pub. Friendly welcoming staff, rooms clean and modern. Great breakfast.
Very convenient for Esher, easy walk into town from the location.
The hotel is well located in the centre of Esher and is an interesting, quirky, historic building. Dinner ans breakfast were available but we did not eat at the hotel.
Breakfast was ok, really appreciated the hotel putting on extra early breakfast to accomodiate an event I travelled for. Staff were great and very friendly.
