Great boutique large pub with rooms and plenty of outdoor space to sit. Lovely huge comfortable bed in the room, spacious room and with sofa and a brilliant walk in shower. Booked a table for food… it was exceptional, really good value for money and delicious. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Large rooms , swimming pool and spar good , some rooms that face the back can be noisy due to wedding venues, breakfast ok , busy on haydock race days , bar is always under staffed and can be long waites for drinks , especially when weddings on.

The hotel was very nice but I would reccomend going when there isnt any wedding party on. It was very busy and it seemed somewhat understaffed to help everybody with their issues.
The staff was pleasant. Although you could see they were extremely busy and under pressure.

The hotel is actually nearer Ashton in Makerfield than Haydock, however perfect for the racecourse and short drive off the M6, very easy to find. I wasn't visiting for sightseeing but visiting family for a celebration so am familiar with the local areas. J23 of the M6 offers convenient links to liverpool/manchester/chester etc. great base for visiting all the North West has to offer for those visiting for business and leisure purposes.

On arriving I found the staff warm and friendly, they were very informative of procedures, I'd made a special request upon booking which they were able to accommodate no problem. Our room was clean, with all the usual facilities, and the bathroom though small, was spotless and all in good working order.
The bed was abit firm for my personal taste, but that's my personal preference.
The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel stay, plenty of choice, excellent quality and very fresh, the restaurant staff were warm and welcoming, all in all a very positive experience.

A great hotel and hotel receptionist was very helpful and gave us all the required information needed and location was perfect for our race night and returned and drank late with a late bar which was a bonus and woke up to a fab breakfast what catered for all and had coffee on tap and fresh bread and yoghurt I would highly recommend this hotel the staff were friendly and the room was very clean and tidy I will definitely return.
We didn't stay at Ibis Styles, but were relocated to Mercure Haydock as Ibis was closed to holiday makers.
Mercure Haydock was fantastic. Friendly staff, great comfortable rooms, beautiful surroundings and great location.
Hotel was busy with business people, but quiet during the night.
That will probably not be the case when a wedding is going on as the suites are right next door.
Based on our stay, the stay was excellent.
close to racecourse though if hotel could negotiate a footpath from the car park would be even quicker. appreciated shuttle service . staff handled delays to food service on a busy weekend excellently- warning in advance, giving crisps out , — a lesson to many higher rated hotels. comfy room and generally great vibe from staff who were rushed off their feet but never let it show.
We were really pleased with the hotel. The staff were friendly and the hotel was really clean. The room was spacious, decorated beautifully and stocked well. The bed was comfy (best night's sleep I've had for a while!) and the food in the morning was cooked well. We will definitely use the hotel again. Thank you.
Friendly staff. Good food in the restaurant and Thursday Quizzes for charity was fun.. Beds were comfy, some worn out areas in carpet and walls, but it is an older place. My traveking companion really liked the pool. I did not get a chance to use the pool or excellent-looking workout room.
Ideal location for Neighbourhood Weekender, only £20 in taxi to Victoria Park.
Hotel room clean, big bed, and we found it comfy.
Pub is lovely, cheap drinks and ideal breakfast.
Shops and Takeaway only 5 min walk max.
Location was right by major roads into Liverpool. We were able to check in at 1am in the morning which was great. The hotel was very clean and we enjoyed having access to the pool and gym facilities.
staff were very friendly and tried their utmost to accomodate queries, hotel was very nice in good location, room great space as we paid for privilege room so more space, parking is ample,
Very comfy big bed. Room had all the facilities I would expect. Staff were friendly. Convenient location for our visit to Haydock Park - and the hotel had a racing theme to match!
Good location, just off the motorway.
Free parking for hotel guests.
Spacious room.
Nice place to sit outside of the hotel, in the courtyard or the front of the hotel.
