The staff are very well-trained and detailed attention has been given to every aspect of the pub and bedrooms. The room was very clean with every luxury provided. The food and service in the restaurant was excellent. We can't fault it.
Wrangham House Hotel is a unique Georgian country house in the pretty village of Hunmanby, a few miles inland from Filey on the Yorkshire coast.

Brilliant place to stay when visiting this part of the country. Very friendly staff and the evening meal was really good. Could not find anything which was not first class.

Lovely village with all amenities, 3 great pubs, close to bus stop, kept tidy and within 3 miles of the coast. A walk across fields would bring the coast at Filey within 2 miles for the more active person. Our favourite place to eat was the White swan about 7 minutes walk away. Personally I would avoid going to Bridlington again as I thought it was quite run down compared to Filey and Whitby which was excellent. Also flamborough head is well worth a visit.

The purpose of our trip to Hunmanby was a tour of the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery. I would definitely recommend the tour and a visit to their Pot Still coffee shop where we enjoyed a lovely (pre-ordered) afternoon tea. The other food looked delicious and the service was first class!

Excellent location for nearby Filey and Scarborough but outside the hustle and bustle of the towns. Very nice countryside. Stayed at the Royal Oak. Great for families. Have a big out door play area for kids

We only stayed one night and had already planned where we were going so didn't have time to look around the village. If we had stayed longer or visited again we would have a proper look around the village as it looks very quaint. While we were staying in Hunmanby we had a go at pitch & putt in Filey and also went to Scarborough open air arena. Public transport was very good. We had a bit of trouble getting a cab back from Scarborough late at night.

A beautifully picturesque village.
A beautifully picturesque village. It’s quaintness surpasses any possible expectations. I would be thrilled to revisit such an idyllic setting. The residents and local council should be very proud.
Ideal for getting to nearby attractions, Filey in particular. The White Swan is a brilliant little local.
The Piebald Inn is a must if you enjoy a good pie.
