We needed a hotel for just one night in Northern Donegal, and this place fit our requirements. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. When we found out they didn't have traditional music that night, they recommended the pub across the street who put on quite a show!

The location was perfect, right in the center of town. Breakfast was very good. Room was spacious and we were located next to an exit door with easy access to the free parking lot. The staff was exceptionally helpful and very attentive to whatever we needed. We were here 2 nights, and I wished we could’ve stayed another night but we had reservations in the next town we were going to visit.

A great town with a genuine sense of community - we were met with hospitality and genuine warmth at every turn. There are two cafes in town with really lovely food/coffee etc, multiple pubs offering usual drinks, music and some with eating options (esp fresh local seafood). The town is a great base for exploring Donegal's stunning natural wonders (Glenveagh NP, Mt Errigal, Poisoned Glen / Muckish Mtns, short drive to Horn Head) as well as cultural and historical points of interest. The local Cluain na dTor Seaside Gardens are well worth visiting as well.

Very friendly people.
Very friendly people. Great cafes and pubs - we visited and loved Batch Café, the Gweedore Bar and the Shamrock Bar. Stunning scenery in the locality. A brilliant Adventure race in its first year was hosted by the local GAA Club Cloughaneely (Altan Adventure Race). Would definitely recommend.
