The room, location, amenities (pool, bar, restaurants) are all individually fantastic, but the main reason I would come here again is the friendly staff.
Gianni, the owner, is the man who knows everyone and will assist with anything, he is the main reason I will be coming back in future.
The hotel is situated close to the shores of Lake Trasimeno, about 2 km from the centre of Passignano sul Trasimeno and offers studio apartments, one-bedroom apartments, suites and standard rooms.

This seemed to me to be a mid-priced hotel with a better than mid-priced level of service from the staff. The main reason to stay is the great view of the lake and the proximity to the sites, restaurants and amenities in the town.

Passignano is such a beautiful little town. so characteristic. you can take long walks along the lake, and doing so in the early morning is so delightful. It is close to other main cities of Umbria, with just half an hour drive you can reach Perugia. Another trip could be to Assisi or Cortona.
It's an area to discover. The people are friendly and welcoming. And boat trips can be taken around the lake.
I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful region.

This is a beautiful scenic part of Italy.
This is a beautiful scenic part of Italy. There is an exceptionally good choice of restaurants but whilst my husband and I like to eat about 6 in the evening most do not open until 7.30. This resort though, offers delicious locally sourced food, fish, seafood including fresh lobster, has a lovely delicatessen behind the old police station and some decent supermarkets.
There doesn't seem to be any local buses service to get about and taxi provision is sparse and expensive {usually a minimum charge of 15€}. We used the local trains which offer great value to get about you can get to Florence in about 90 mins.

Very nice family run hotel, hotel staff that goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant.
Nice breakfast buffet with plenty of choice.
Large rooms with good airconditioning and access to own outside area with chair and table. The bathroom/shower was functional but could use a renovation.
Great restaurant/pizzeria that uses their locally grown products, we decided to eat there every day of our stay as we felt at home and the food tasted great!
The location is perfectly central and scenic. The room exactly as advertised. I have bad back, my husband is tall. I put in requests for bed to suit us both. Delighted to report. We had large bed with great mattress. The breakfast was typically italian - delicious and filling. Their restaurant beside the hotel was classy and food delicious. All staff friendly, accommodating, courteous and professional. Highly recommend.
Passignano Sul Trasimeno is a magical town with great restaurants, cafes and shops. The breathtaking vistas from Agriturismo "La Volpaia" are unsurpassed! Nadia and Stefano are the perfect hosts not to mention offering guests an extraordinary breakfast sourced primarily from their garden. A short drive to Perugia...This hidden gem is not to be missed!
Kind staff, excellent breakfast and a huge private parking lot near the shores of Lake Trasimeno. I stayed overnight on my way from northern Italy to Rome, and had a pleasant stay. The nearby town of Passignano offers plenty of restaurants and cafes even in the winter-time and many other services like serlf-service laundry (if you happen to need it).
This is a little gem of a hotel. Silvia the owner made our time there special. Her welcome, the extra care with my diet restrictions, her calm assistance with anything we wished to know. Offer of underground parking to keep the car cool. Thank you Hotel la Vela wish we were coming back soon.
Very clean and beautiful location. Quick and clear instructions. Loved the proximity to the lake and the gorgeous sunset view! Nice little deck to enjoy a glass of wine or morning coffee. Small town with several restaurants. Nice boulevard to walk but a little buggy.
Luana was very kind and received me very well. The ferry station to go to the "Isola Maggiore" is about 30 mins away by walk from the hotel. A good view of the lake from the bar/swimming pool. The bed was comfortable. I recommend this place.
I would describe it as a quaint rustic hotel in an amazing spot on the lake. The view from our bedroom window was stunning.
The breakfasts were lovely and our evening meal just so delicious. All the staff were great.
Amazing place. Super close to everything. Rooms are super clean and staff is incredibly friendly. They let us check in early and had amazing recommendations for the area. I hope to be back and stay again at Parkhotel
The location is wonderful. We didn't cook much, but the kitchen seems to be fully equipped. The room are spacious and overall the apartment was very clean. The communication with the host was easy and quick.
A very comfortable room with a balcony and lake view. The buffet breakfast better than most hotels I have visited.
The pool was very welcome in the hot afternoon.
I hope to visit again. Thank you.
This is a night stop off on our way to southern Italy. The hotel was value for money, and the staff were helpful. The village 10 mins walk has great restaurants, watch out for the mosquitoes.
Nice apart hotel, very good organised, solide breakfars, big roms and living room, verry friendly staff and lady owner, nice garden and smaller swiming pool
