Facing the Tagus River and built on seven hills, charming Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world. It offers unique tram rides, intimate Fado performances, great dining venues and much more.
The city is famous for its districts: the Belém's famous monuments; the Alfama's labyrinthine streets, bars and small shops; and the trendy Alcântara's docks. Lisbon’s most popular nightlife and shopping venues are located in Bairro Alto, while the traditional heart of the city beats rhythmically in the Baixa.
Enjoy a walk in the greenery of Jardim Botânico, admire the architecture of the Jerónimos Monastery or explore Feira da Ladra flea market. The Chiado area serves the city's best traditional Portuguese food. No meal is complete without some famous pastéis de nata!
Getting to the city centre is only a metro or bus ride from Lisbon Portela Airport. Whether you want a luxury hotel, a friendly guesthouse or a cosy apartment, Booking.com has plenty of accommodations for your holiday in Lisbon.

A great city to explore, eat and drink.
A great city to explore, eat and drink. Bars are cheap and the every warm night is a party in the streets. The locals are very friendly and the city generally has a lot of tourists so most people speak English or Spanish which was helpful. Lots of shopping and sure seeing too. 3 days is perfect for exploring the city, beaches and going out to Sintra for some muesums and historical sites.

Getting around Lisbon was a breeze as the city is well-served by different transportation modes - metro, bus, tram, ferry, and even rented electric scooters. The nightlife is also amazing - there are still many restaurants and bars open for business after dinnertime, so there is literally something for you to do at any time of the day. Tipping is not mandatory at the restaurants in Lisbon, but the warm hospitality and excellent customer service would compel you to give a small tip to compliment the waiters for their service. My personal favorite districts in Lisbon are Rossio and Baixa-Chiado. One of the places where I ate was the Time Out Market in Lisbon, with many great seafood and meat options with different alcoholic beverages to go with it. I would avoid the shopping malls as there is nothing special about them.

I loved the food and historic buildings and sculptures.
I loved the food and historic buildings and sculptures. Tram 28 was an exciting ride thru the city at sunrise. Prices were quite reasonable.
I found Lisbon rather dirty with a strong urine odor in many areas. The steep roads made walking unpleasant. Graffiti was common and beautiful murals defaced. Many of the historic buildings were sadly in need of renovation.

It is a unique city.
It is a unique city. Some tourist attractions are MUST to see. Be prepared still:
Streets are dirty- trash everywhere.
Post signings are sometimes confusing, difficult to find destination.
Have cash, cards do not work everywhere.
There is no Fast line in many places even you have online tickets.
You have to wave for tram, and bus if you want them to stop.

A vibrant city that has everything going for it - a long and colourful history reflected in beautiful castles and churches and government buildings, together with steep, winding, cobbled streets dotted with curiosities in the oldest districts. Restaurants galore from world-renowned destinations to back-street treasures and streetside cafes. The newer parts of the city boast major international hotels, spectacular museums (try the Gulbenkian) and every major brand from Paris, Rome, Tokyo and the rest. Transport is cheap - get a travel card for the trams, metro and buses - and reliable and the taxis are cheap too. Try Via Graca for an excellent meal with a view.
We stayed in the room with the small private garden. We really enjoyed our stay. The communal rooms look cozy and there is an kitchen (fully equipped Incl fridge etc) if you want to do your own cooking (we didn’t use it). It is not a hotel, so no reception. You receive login codes for the different entrances, works great. Best way to get here from the airport is with an Uber. (Airport to alfama just below 7 euros during our visit). It saves you walking up and down Lisbon’s famous steep cobble stones with your luggage.
Everything… From being picked up from the airport in a Tesla (pipedream to own one of these) to the fantastic service we received by every person along the way cannot recommend this place enough. They even went above and beyond when we thought Lisbon was about to be locked down due to covid (it ended up being fine). The place itself is fantastic and the food is great too. Highly recommend the breakfast. My partner and I travel a lot and this is one of the best 4 star hotels we have ever stayed in.
This hotel had everything I like: nice, stylish room, super comfy bed, up-to-date bathroom with fabulous shower and plenty of hot water, friendly and helpful staff, best gin and tonics in town at the bar, and marvelous food in the restaurant including one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever had. It was worth a lot more than I paid as travel isn’t quite back to normal yet. Also, convenient location to get anywhere in Lisbon. I took the train up the coast several days and it was easy.
The hotel staff was one of the best that I have encountered while in Europe. The hotel offers a concierge, which was amazing with helping arrange tours throughout Lisbon. Our check in process was easy, the rooms clean and crisp. All amenities on the property were wonderful. Spa, bar, and the Italian restaurant. The staff also had great recommendations for restaurants that were around the city. I loved how centrally located the hotel was for shopping. Would stay here again.
One of the best hotels I visited in Europe.
Very friendly staff, the lady who greeted me late at night at my arrival gave me a quiet room just like I asked, with a view away from the main street.
Breakfast is very good and inclusive, from omelette with bacon to everything you could think of. Breakfast schedule is until 10:30 AM so great even if you are not a morning person.
A 10 minute car ride from the airport and 3 short metro stops away from the city centre.
As Zurin Charm Hotel was recently launched, on June of 2021, all features are brand new. All the facilities are amazing, from the reception, to the breakfast area, until the room. Also, the view from the room to Lisbon is beautiful. The Staff, I don’t even need to mention, they are 10/10, good people with good care and respect for their guests, always available 24/7. I don’t know why Zurin Charm Hotel is considered 2 stars as it is a truly 5 star experience.
This is a very cozy hotel with very clean rooms, wonderful breakfast, and centered well in Lisbon. Many sites are within a walking distance.
The team is amazing and warm welcoming. Jaoao was of much assistance in providing information. Gabriel did great in assisting us in our needs. A great applause to wonderful Cluadia. Cluadia presence is well noticed between guests. She tries her best to make the stay of the guests a unique experience. Thank you all
It's a beautiful hotel and a lovely place to stay. The garden square outside is gorgeous and you are walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The staff were exceptional, very welcoming and helpful. Delicious breakfast and great bar. There are not many hotels of this standard in Lisbon so if you're looking for the best but without the impersonal nature of the big chains, then this is for you.
Honestly this is one of the best places I've ever stayed at. Everything was brilliant. Location was amazing too, loved the avenue nearby and close to centre, metro, train station. The apartment had everything we could wish for, comfy beds and extremely quiet. If we ever visit Lisbon again we'll be staying here. Staff were extremely helpful. It's part of a 5 star hotel so the service was top level.
everything about this property is first glass, from the moment we arrived the smell when you open the air conditioned entry, the welcoming staff with a glass of Portuguese wine & tarts,it’s such a modern hotel the air conditioned room was spotless & the view of the street & river unreal.we definitely recommend it.Rossio Plaza Lisbon you should be very proud of your staff👏👏👏5 star.
Stunning hotel, set in a super central location in Lisbon. Pure luxury. Stunning rooftop bar with sweeping views over the city. It was one if the best hotels we've stayed in across Europe. The staff were exceptional. From the amazing night staff, to Daniel and Maria - they accommodated our every request and went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable.
Our room was large and set up exactly as we had requested.
Staff was excellent, particularly the breakfast staff. Breakfast was excellent with many options. One of the best breakfast situations I have ever had. Library on the top floor with available beverages was excellent. We loved Lisbon, and this hotel was one of the reasons why. Thank you!
Very convenient to Lisbon airport and their shuttle for 10 e was super handy and a nice car. The afternoon staff, in particular Joao, were so helpful and friendly. Room was nice and the bed was very comfy. But the best part was the huge bathroom! Very unusual in a budget friendly hotel. We enjoyed our stay here and recommend it.
I loved the location, which was really close to the historic center of Lisbon. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely complimentary breakfast. The best part of this hotel, however, is the staff, who were so kind and really took their time to provide us with recommendations for things to do in the city.
Near airport but really not very central to popular parts of Lisbon and not many restaurant options near by. Train station is less than 10 mins away. Pool is lovely and warm - but you have to wear swim hats (wish I had known this before) and therefore we had to purchase some from the hotel €10 per person.
The young lady who checked me in was lovely and friendly. The shower in the small bathroom was excellent and very modern. The breakfast was okay. The area around the hotel is a working class area with some good, cheap restaurants and has a more realistic feel to Lisbon than the City Centre.
Fantastic luxury hotel. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. And the breakfast was by far one of the best I’ve ever had. The hotel is not in the center of Lisbon but there’s public transportation that’s very easy to use right nearby so this was not a big deal.
Super location, modern boutique style, great staff. Excellent hotel to experience the Lisbon scene. Also, the breakfast was top notch. We stayed 3 days on arrival to Portugal and another day before departure. Worked out great.
This Hotel was FANTASTIC! This property was beautiful and the room was exquisite! The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was the best I ever had anywhere! 5 Stars!
Great location. Netflix available so I could unwind before bed. Linens were wonderful. I’m currently staying at a 5 star hotel here in Lisbon and the linens and mattress is nowhere near as good.
