As a recommendation of our host, Konyali kebab restaurant was delicious, we went there three times!! Also the fish restaurant right by the sea with a gorgeous sunset was also brilliant - it's called Körfez. Enjoy! Quite a lot going on in this town, lots of pharmacies which was helpful to us, but just in general nice and buzzing :)

Very beautiful and green islands in distance of 1-3 KMs. Lots of restaurants nearby, very good fresh seafood offered. Turgetreis full of friendly helpful locals. Great prices, excellent value for your money. Nearby places to visit Akyarlar with amazing beach and Gumusluk for a laid back bohemian day and fabulously lit in the evening. Downside to Turgetreis is the large amount of stray dogs wandering the streets and not so friendly!

The staff are very friendly although they don’t speak a lot of English they are very welcoming. The hotel is no frills as expected but the beds are comfortable and the showers are hot. The rooms are quite spacious and the breakfasts are a good typical Turkish breakfast. Would have no hesitation in returning , in fact we have been returning for the last few years apart from during Covid restrictions.
