great jumping off point for the northern olympic national park and forest area - loved diggers by the water, climbed up to marymere falls Cresent Lake, went out to Cape Flattery. All worth the drives.

We were only there two evenings, but were unhappy with both restaurants that we chose for dinner. They were identified as the best or better ones in town. However, we did not enjoy it. We really would’ve enjoyed some good seafood. Decision to stay there was only to see high Ridge in the Olympics and it was fantastic.

Although we were only there for 1 night as we moved on to Vancouver Island the following day, Port Angeles seemed to have the quaintness of a small town, but with plenty of facilities. Obviously the proximity to Olympic NP & ferry services are the main plusses.

Port Angeles is centrally located to all the natural areas...

Port Angeles is centrally located to all the natural areas you would like to visit. Many places are closed at the beginning of the week. Cruise ship comes in and that makes restaurants really busy at dinner time. Plan ahead if you want to eat somewhere nice. Kokopelli Grill was nice and food was good but getting a seat took awhile. Some people couldn’t be seated. Try to get the shuttle that goes to Hurricane Ridge then you can go anytime. If you are a car, you’ll have to get up there early.

Stayed in Port Angeles because it was so close to Hurricane Ridge in the national Park. Had dinner at Joshua's restaurant next to the Super 8. The pictures hanging on the walls of the restaurant are good enough to be in an art gallery--very impressed!

I'm weird because I love clouds and rain, and I hate heat. P.A.has my ideal climate. The town is just the right mix of city and suburbs. The houses and neighborhoods are all so cute and wonderful. I am seriously considering moving there. Best restaurant: New Day Eatery Best american breakfast: Chestnut Cottage

Had a great stay at the camp and the most comfortable sleep of our whole trip to the Olympic Park thanks to the comfy beds. The site had freshly cleaned bathrooms and showers and the owners were extremely helpful in the instructions to get there from Port Angeles. Price was very competitive compared with local hotels, and the tents were sturdy and gave the experience of camping under canvas without the hassle of having to set them up on arrival.

Perfect location in the center of Port Angeles. Staff were very friendly and helpful when I needed them and left me alone exactly as I wished. While the building is obviously older, the plumbing and fixtures were in good shape, and a refrigerator and microwave were provided. A nonsmoking building was very, very much appreciated. The location is walkable to several cafes and coffee as well as safeway. It was exactly what I needed at a good price.

I am a photographer and when I come to Port Angeles alone this is my favorite place to stay. It is easy to find and is located close to many restaurants and other businesses. It’s just about a mile or so from downtown and easy access to the National Park and other sites. It is no frills but I get a bathroom with tub and shower, and I can control the heating and air conditioning. The staff are pleasant and never bother me and I feel safe here.

From the outside my expectations were pretty mid but entering our room I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities. Some things seem a little dated but everything worked as intended and the staff was always super helpful. If I am in port Angeles again I will definitely book this place.
