Situated at the heart of Livingstone City Centre, within a historic 19th century colonial building, New Fairmount Hotel blends historical architecture with contemporary interior design.

The hotel has the charm of times gone by.
The structure has what I would call a colonial architecture, in some ways a little old which makes it of a particular charme.
There are different levels of comfort within the hotel and this is an obvious fact.
My stay could be summed up as a two parts' movie.
In the first half I was assigned a room that was, let's say, not perfect, but almost certainly adequate for the price I paid.
After I complained (kindly of course) to the staff, I was immediately given a huge room, full of comforts and at the same starting price.
This allowed me to draw the conclusion that the staff really represents an additional resource and, as far as I'm concerned, it made the difference.
Good dinner at the restaurant.
A club also operates on weekends.

The staff are amazing, friendly, courteous and efficient!
Location is great and restaurants, supermarket and many locations are walkable from the lodge.
Location is safe.
Loadshedding was a nuisance but staff did everything they could to assist and reduce discomfort.
Breakfasts are included and sumptuous full English meals!
Fridge in each room. AC in each room- though I did not use it because it was cool weather in May.

The property was tastefully decorated and the location provided a tranquil experience and a much needed restful location after a long day of activities. It is located within a 10-15 drive of Mosi-oa-Tunya falls and National Park and is equally close to all amenities if desired.
Ken and the entire team were extremely accommodating and willing to go the extra mile for us. All members were extremely friendly and we cannot fault a single person. For example, they prepared breakfast to go for us half an hour earlier than the kitchen opens at 7am to allow us to eat something before a long journey to Chobe National park at no extra cost. They were also on hand to provide suggestions to make our trip more memorable and the food prepared by the Lodge was so tasty we ate dinner in most of the nights during our stay! (Still waiting for the Impala recipe Ken 😉)
Will 1000% recommend staying here and I would definitely stay again if I revisit!
