I've never stayed in such a well thought out accommodation before! Literally couldn't think of a single thing that was lacking - and all fit into a pristinely-kept cottage. The host is so lovely as well. Very close to Sani Pass road, which is newly redone and a beautiful ride (up to the border post). We lit a lovely fire and I enjoyed a relaxing jacuzzi bath during loadshedding. Will definitely return!

This was an unexpected stay in the area after car troubles but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise! We stumbled on this farm in a panicky effort to find pet-friendly accommodation and I still can't believe our good fortune. The farm, and everyone on it, are fantastic. We were looking for a room for 1 night and ended up staying a lot longer. The cottages are incredibly comfortable, spacious, spotless, thoughtfully decorated and well kitted out in all rooms - the electric blankets, log fires, hot tub and freshly baked bread were amazing! There is plenty of space for the family, friends and furbabies. The setting is pretty spectacular - what a beautiful part of the world - and there are plenty of things to do within the property including fishing, hiking and birdwatching. Take the time to find the cranes, they're beautiful! A very big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make our stay so special. Deborah, in particular, was fantastic and really saved the day, I cannot speak highly enough of her and everything she has done for us - it is so encouraging to know that there are such kind people in this world, who will drop everything to come and rescue complete strangers. Do yourself a favour and book one of the cottages, it is 100% worth it!!

Wonderful views of the mountains. Unit is exceptionally spacious and excellent value for the money. We are already recommending The Bunker to our friends for any trips they may be considering to Drakensberg. Jo is very thoughtful and communication was excellent in all respects. Would book again without hesitation.

This location is a true paradise. The view from your garden and the house of the Drakensberg Mountains is truly phenomenal. The house has everything you need, a fully equipped kitchen and three spacious bedrooms. Outside was a beautifully landscaped garden with a braai and jacuzzi. Dave and Les are the new owners of this piece of paradise and are available at all times. There are beautiful hiking trails around Ama Casa. We had a great stay.

Penwarn Farm Lodge ligt op 26 km van Himeville Museum en biedt een tuin en een barbecue. De accommodaties hebben een balkon en gratis WiFi. Zeer mooie lokatie, een prachtig huisje op het land van de boerderij. Goed uitgerust, dagelijks uitstekende schoonmaak. Zelfs WiFi in het huisje. Geen last van load shedding. Even weg uit de drukte, kan het zeker aanraden.

Otters Den biedt accommodatie in Nottingham Road. De accommodatie beschikt over een bubbelbad. Flyfishing ligt op 10 km van de accommodatie. Er is gratis privéparkeergelegenheid bij de accommodatie. Super mooie locatie bij de beek (otters den) en mooi bloemperk om de huisjes. Omgeving is prachtig! Super mooie omgeving om te rijden naar lokale winkels of natuurgebieden. Hele vriendelijke eigenaren, reageerde heel vriendelijk ondanks dat we laat in checkte vanwege het file. Huisje bevat alle faciliteiten, bed sliep ook echt lekker.
