Lizzi was a really great host who made sure we were taking care off. When we came back from diner she turned on the fireplace already. The accommodation itself is breathtaking. Very spacious and well decorated, a lot of kitchen equipment and the garden is beautiful. As an animal lover I loved the donkeys and goat who were greeting us when we arrived.

The best overnight stay we had in South Africa! we had actually booked the smaller accommodation for two people, but plumbing work was taking place there - so that we got an upgrade to the main house. both the house and the park in which it is located were wonderful. The departure was very difficult for us and I can only recommend it to everyone! :-)

Offering free WiFi and mountain views, The Cottage on the Corner is an accommodation set in Himeville. The property features garden views, plus is 600 metres from Himeville Museum. I've never stayed in such a well thought out accommodation before! Literally couldn't think of a single thing that was lacking - and all fit into a pristinely-kept cottage. The host is so lovely as well. Very close to Sani Pass road, which is newly redone and a beautiful ride (up to the border post). We lit a lovely fire and I enjoyed a relaxing jacuzzi bath during loadshedding. Will definitely return!
