We were treated to an excellent gourmet breakfast every day, everything freshly prepared and home made. A combination of healthy and tasty that few places manage to achieve. The hosts were friendly and helpful, every recommendation for local places matched what we were looking for. We felt welcomed and well taken care of. The house is tastefully arranged; every item carefully selected, evoking the times when the house was built. With addition of modern comforts, such as the jacuzzi, for relaxing after a long hike, it all creates a nice, cozy environment for a very pleasant stay.

It was so beautiful! The staff are amazing and will do everything they can to make you comfortable. The breakfasts were so good. It was so nice to walk the property and see the reindeer and Icelandic horses.

The layout was very well done, the lower level bedrooms were easily accessible for Mom who can't do stairs. Mom said her double bed was very comfortable. My sister-in-law can't do stairs either, so she had the other bedroom downstairs with the double bunk bed. She found it too hard and put the upper mattress on top of the bottom one to make it more comfortable. We spent most of our time in the downstairs kitchen area, the dining table was very large and we could all fit around it to chat, eat & socialize. We brought chairs down from the bedrooms to fit us all. That was the best place in the villa! There is so much storage in the kitchen area, beautifully laid out. Upstairs, we only used the bathroom & 3 bedrooms but the living room looked very comfy and inviting. The kitchen area looked nice but again, we didn't use it so I have no info for that area. I loved the bedroom I had, the bottom double bunk was firm and very comfortable. Even when my husband joined me on the second night, it was still wonderful. My other sister liked her bed, too. The bedroom with the ensuite went to my sister whose milestone birthday it was and was fine for her & her husband the second night. The bathrooms upstairs & downstairs were large with plenty of space for our toiletries. The location is good, close to Collingwood downtown and not far to get to Blue Mountain Village.
