Great hostel, it almost looks new! The bathrooms were clean, same for the toilets, the beds were very private (with a curtain or a door).

Enjoyed seeing the big horn sheep wandering around the town. The thermal hot springs were relaxing. We enjoyed eating at the Horsethief Creek Pub. My other review had some photos that were not from Radium Hot Springs but there’s no way to remove them.

We love visiting Radium. It's small, quaint and scenic.
We love visiting Radium. It's small, quaint and scenic. It's typically a one night stop as we drive from Alberta to BC to visit family, but it's one we truly enjoy. Our last trip allowed us to find a quaint little hotel, Inn on Canyon, that is a hidden gem. A budget friendly place with a warm welcome and wow! It was so clean and fresh smelling, not fake or chemically induced - just clean and fresh. If you get a chance to eat at Helna's Stube, you're in for a treat if you love German food (schnitzel!!) and you can't beat a stop at Screamers Ice Cream on a hot day (or, even a cold one if you love ice cream).AlisonCanada - 10Scored 10

We went in the winter months, so it wasn't busy. Which was great! Staff was really friendly and walked around the pool for safety. It was relaxing and we loved looking at the mountains. It is right off the highway, so careful going in and out of the parking lot. Radium is a great little village that I have stayed a number of times over the years. It is close enough to places like Banff and Lake Louise to make day trips to but avoid the inflated hotel prices. Great little town with good restaurants and coffee shops. Amazing wildlife - big horned sheep- wandering around town. Close to natural hot springs , hikes, lake Windermere and panorama ski resort. The visitors centre is perfect for all the information on how to get to the natural hot springs , and hike the hoodoos rock formations. Hot springs in town are perfect at dark . Wolf sanctuary is a 1 hour drive north and well worth the visit. 🐺StevenAustralia - 10Scored 10

The breakfast of French toast and sausages was good, however for our tastes sausages could have been a bit browner. Glass tableware and stainless steel cutlery was a very nice change to other hotel breakfasts. Our room was very comfortable. Although we didn’t use it this trip, the electric fireplace was a nice touch. This was our first stay at Inn on Canyon. The Victorian style inside and out of the building was a nice change from chain hotels. We will definitely stay there again!BrigitteCanada

It is walking distance from the local restaurants and shops and if you wish to visit the the Radium Hot Springs it is a very pleasant 4km walk through stunning scenery - TIP: for walking to the Hot Springs, cross the road from the apartment and cut through the Canyon RV resort where you can pick up the Juniper Trial to the Sinclair Falls and up to the highway. Try the Helna's Stube Restaurant but best to book.

There was no comparable lobby, however. I was so happy I stayed here on my driving route from Banff, Canada back to Kalispell, Montana, USA to fly home. The bathroom and shower were huge, compared to big-chain hotels. I would definitely stay there again, if I were in the area. The bed, sheets, and towels were great also, nothing seemed cheap.
