This hotel is pleasing on the eye and brilliantly located just off the main route into Santander making it ideal for a stopover before an early afternoon ferry sailing. The room rate is good value. This hotel features a 'posh' restaurant for evening dining and boasts excellent, knowledgeable and attentive service by the staff and the food-especially in our limited experience-the desserts really are something special. The Wine list is extensive too. The large car park is not undercover and (fortunately for us) had just two vacant places when we arrived.

Great location near to restaurants, the seafront and shops. About 20 minutes walk (uphill) from the ferry port and bus station. We had a lovely airy and quiet room at the back of the hotel overlooking private houses and gardens. Clean.

Everything was clean. Staff were friendly. The room and bed were spacious and the TV worked seamlessly with our devices. Location next to the train station was superb. Would definitely rate this place.
