Breakfast was excellent in terms of choice and quality. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Very welcoming. The atmosphere was as you might expect from a very old property. Decor in public rooms was fine and in our bedroom adequate. Our room was adequate in terms of bedroom size, but the shower room/toilet was bijou to say the least! However, one can understand it is difficult to adapt such an old property to meet modern standards.
Elmham House - Pilgrim Hotel has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Little Walsingham.

Cycling the Rebellion Way this pilgrims hotel was perfectly located for our Walsingham stop. Rooms were as expected for a pilgrims hotel - basic and not en suite, but spotless. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Bike storage was provided.

Excellent accomodation, more of a self contained cottage than a B&B with own kitchen and continental breakfast provided. Warm and dry after abandoning our very wet camping trip ! Hot tub was an added luxury. Good value for money for family of 4.
The Christmas Spectacular show was AMAZING !!
Very talented cast that put on a spectacular show over 3 hrs with a 25 min break.
As soon as we walked through the main entrance you was met by Christmas lights everywhere and a display of the Kings guards on horse back all lit up.
There are quaint Christmas shops which definayely need a visit and we went into a very pretty building for food which was enjoyable
The light trail was very pretty and laid out beautifully so u didn't miss a thing
Thursford even decorated the steam train museum which looked very pretty.
We managed to get around fantasy land which led us to the light trail. This was an extra charge to the show ticket. Fantasy land is for the children but is also very cute and pretty. This whole experience is definately worth a visit and we will definately be back.

fantastic if you love the countryside like we do, its a bit "out of the way" but worth the effort to find ,breakfast was lovely and made even better by the manageress who made you feel so welcome ,the steam museum adjacent is well worth the visit as are Walsingham shrine, Wells on sea, the Shirehorse center in West Runton where they have many animals and birds which have been rescued and Cromer with its lovely pier , we will certainly visit again ion the not to distant future.

A nice quiet area to unwind and relax.
A nice quiet area to unwind and relax. Thursford is mainly a residential area but has a Christmas market which we were informed is very popular at that time of year. There are some nice surrounding villages and a short distance to the coast.

We stayed at Holly Lodge for 2 nights.
We stayed at Holly Lodge for 2 nights. The location was perfect to explore Norfolk. The room was tastefully decorated with a large comfortable bed. The cooked breakfast was also very good.
All in all it was a nice place to stay and I would recommend it to others. The were however a couple of negative facts: bad coffee at breakfast and very cold floors in the room.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was lovely, with good facilities.
An excellent breakfast was provided.
The decor throughout was gorgeous making the whole building feel warm and cosy.
I would recommend a stay here at any time but particularly if you are going to see the Thursford Christmas show as it is only a two minute stroll away from the show.
Such a lovely place to stay, we stayed in the Holly room which had a stand alone claw footed bath, double shower & twin sinks in the en-suite bathroom, absolutely gorgeous & a very nice cooked breakfast in the morning.
Thursford Christmas Spectacular was literally over the road from the hotel, a 3 minute walk, which is a must go to fantastic show!
Location next to Thursford, was excellent. Good English breakfast and excellent evening meal. Some of the most comfortable pillows I have ever slept on. I was a single user in a double-room. The owner/chef Colin was an excellent and welcoming host, as were his staff colleagues.
